That one exception

"So come on Tyler...are you a hugger or where you deliberately spooning Mini?" Nogla tilted his head and looked up at me with enquiring eyes.

Well hell, there was no getting around it now. I saw Mini's head snap up and look between me and Nogla. "Both...I do tend to hug things when I sleep but I deliberately hugged Mini this morning" I turned to directly face Mini and almost stuck my finger in his face as if accusing him of something "Because...this little shit has a habit sneaking out in the middle of the night and get his ass beat...I had to make sure he stayed put"

Mini looked at me and frowned "I did that once!" He protested loudly hugging his ribs a little tighter, I had to stop myself laughing when I saw the micro pout as he made eye contact with me "Does this mean I'm going to be molested in my sleep for the next two nights?"

"It's either that or we put you on a leash" I joked smirking at the low chuckles running around the group.

Mini gave everyone a distasteful look before looking back at me and rubbing the back of his neck "To be honest it probably helped me...I tend to move around a lot when I'm asleep so you probably stopped me moving around and hurting myself, which meant I got to sleep more" Mini had his eyes narrowed but was staring into the space between us as if he was deep in thought.

"Awww so you'll be spooning again tonight" Nogla almost sang while bouncing on the end of the bed.

"Tyler you go get your shower first, I want the pills to kick in a bit first" Mini interrupted and skilfully changed the subject to avoid the awkwardness of where that conversation might lead. He looked like he was feeling sick, he was a lot paler than he had been when he went into the bathroom, the bruising on his face still looking extremely dark. I sighed and nodded, a little reluctant to leave him with the guys in case they gave him a rough time.

"alright....Evan you're in charge of the kids while I'm gone...make sure they don't throw their cheerio's at the walls and don't forget to stop Nogla from eating all the crayons" trying to keep my voice in a stern fatherly tone it cracks half way through and makes the others laugh. I start laughing with them as I pull out some clean clothes from the dresser.

"Ok Tyler" Evan chuckles "I'll make sure no one pulls on Mini's pigtails"

"No putting gum in his hair either...and watch out for those damn Goomba's" I call over my shoulder as I walked into the bathroom, hearing Mini chuckle as I close the door.

I quickly undress and get my entire morning routine done in record time, although I did skip having a shave just to save time. I was feeling anxious and wanted to get back to Mini so that he wasn't left on his own, I knew the guys wouldn't be mean to him or hurt him but I just felt that I needed to be with him until he was through this and everything was back to normal.

Going back into the room I was very conscious that the conversation had stopped as soon as I walked in, my gaze instantly locked onto Mini before scanning the rest of the room. His gaze was locked onto the floor and I saw him lick his lip nervously, Evan and Brock where now standing in the middle of the room with Delirious only a few inches behind them but everyone else was where they were when I'd gone for my shower. Mini was no longer a pale white he was a vibrant shade of pink, even his neck was the same shade, what had happened to cause, what was possibly, a full body blush from Mini?

"What?" I asked the room trying to make it look as though I was asking because they were staring at me.

"Nothing..." Lui smirked

I looked at them all suspiciously and gave them a one shouldered shrug "Your turn Min" He moved before I had even finished talking, wincing because he'd moved too fast, making me even more suspicious about what they had been asking him or saying to him. I looked over at Evan and frowned, he looked at me and pulled a face.

"So Tyler...you're a hugger when you sleep huh?" Lui giggled

"I am...why?" I wasn't sure if I was actually a hugger or if I was just a hugger around Mini, it was a subject I'd never asked about and I have never woken up and been hugging someone before, but because of how they had found us I thought it best to make it look like it was something I did regardless of who I was with.

"Just curious" I could hear the smirk in his voice as if he knew something had happened between Mini and I.

"Are you jealous Lui?"

"No!" he was sounding defensive already which was unusual for him.

"That sounds like a big fat yes" Evan folded his arms and smirked at Lui

"Yeah it did" I laughed and folded my arms across my chest, mirroring Evan and making sure to give him the same knowing smirk he gave me a few moments ago "come on Lui, admit it, you want a bit of the spooning action don't you?"

He pulled a face and grinned "Oh my god you caught me out" he enunciated every word as if he was a bad actor in a tv commercial , he put his hands on his cheeks to give us an over exaggerated shocked expression, making us all laugh.

"Come on guys what did you say to Mini to make him want to get out of the room that quick?" I ask as gently as I can to make it sound like I was curious rather than demanding to know. I wasn't surprised when it was Evan that answered.

"They asked if you'd given him any more hickeys...his looked like he was remembering something and started blushing...That's when they asked if your hands wandered when you were spooning"

"You guys have issues you know that right?" I cocked an eyebrow at everyone in the room and slowly shook my head. " I mean the games the other night and now this...you guys need to go out and get laid, you have sex on the brain"

"Getting some action sounds like an awesome idea" Delirious piped up from behind Evan before chuckling to himself and turning to look out of the window, I assume so that the others wouldn't see his expression. I automatically glanced at Evan's face and found that he was looking back at me so I wiggled my eyebrows at him and got an eye roll in return.
