"Mamaw!"
"Peepaw!" the grandkids all scream with excitement, as they run to us as we all meet at "Zorbaz" in Cross Lake.
"Babies, mamaw has missed you so much!" I say as they all put their hands around my waist.
"Hey, peepaw is here too. What am I? chopped liver?" Sam says as he looks over and gives me a slight wink as the kids all jump into Sam's arms.
"Hey!" Walker says, as Chelsea is sitting down at the table.
"Hey, my baby boy." I say as I give Walker a kiss.
"Mom!" Walker says in embarrassment, and wipes his cheeks.
"You are 20 years old, and I'm your mommy, so I can kiss you whenever I want too. You came out of my vagina for crying out loud!" I say while giving Walker a hug.
"Mom, tmi, tmi." Walker says as he plugs his ears.
"Here's the table. We almost have the entire place to ourselves, haha." Shura says.
"Ha! Are the kids having fun?" Sam asks.
"How can they not be having any fun at Zorbaz" Shura says as she walks behind my back.
"My oldest child." I say while giving Shura a kiss.
"See, you aren't the only one who gets showered with kisses from mom." Shura says with a giggle
"Hahaha." Walker says as he lets out a little laugh as he sits down next to Chelsea.
"Aw, how's the baby doing?" I say as I rub Chelsea's belly.
"The baby is doing good, healthy. Apparently this kid thinks my bladder is a chew toy." Chelsea says with a sigh as she lays both her hands down on her belly.
"I know what you are going through. When I was pregnant with Walker, I was never not in the bathroom." I say as Walker just laughs and says "sorry."
"Sorry to whom?" Chelsea asks as she gives Walker a stare.
"To you both I guess?" Walker says as I rub his head.
"It's all worth it once you hold them for the first time in your arms. And then when they look at you for the first time and when they smile at you, it's the best feeling in the world." I say as a tear falls from my face.
"Aw, mom." Hannah says as she gives me a hug.
"And look at how good they turn out?" Sam says as he gives Shura a hug.
"Aw daddy, thank you!" Shura says as she puts her hand on her chest.
"Daddy's here." Patsy says as she sneaks up behind Sam's back.
"Hi, baby."
"Hi, daddy."
"Kiss ass." Hannah mumbles under her breath, as Patsy gives her a pout and gives her daddy a big hug.
"Girls, he's your daddy, you can share him!" I say with a giggle.
"Mamaw, Hannah's pregnant." little Louise says (she's a year and a half) "and Shura said that peepaw's gonna be mad."
"Aw, my sweet little Louise, ha." I say as I grab Louise and hold her in my arms.
"Honey, is this true?" Sam says as he turns Hannah back towards him, and looks at her straight in the eye.
"Yes, I'm--I'm having a baby. daddy." Hannah says as she starts to cry.
"Oh, don't cry, sweetheart.. Ssh." Sam says as he gives Hannah a hug and rubs her back. "My Hannah Banana is having a baby. My Hannah Banana is having a baby!"
