Chapter 10: The Fault in my life.

Stephanie's POV

This is big mistake. Kasey telling me that I should break up with Ruben. But, I realized that Ruben wasn't really there for me... And that maybe I should. My ignorant self has also realized something now, that Cesar likes me, and Jesus does too, and Ruben.... And now KASEY. This isn't right..... "I...." Everything was getting blurry and the world was spinning.

"Stephanie, are you alright?" "Yeah, I just feel a little dizzy." "I'll take you back to your dorm." "No, it's fine." But I couldn't get up from the bench and I sat back down. "You clearly need my help."

"No, I don't."

"YEAH, you do."

"NO, I don't."

"YEAH YOU DO." Kasey rapidly grabbed me and held me bridal style. And walked back to the dorms. "Kasey!?" My face was intensely flustered. But I wasn't really angered. "Don't struggle. And you're not heavy to carry." "Uhh, thanks." Kasey carrying me felt calming, but it still sucks how he can't remember who I am. Meanwhile, my inner fangirl soul was practically dying inside. I would always imagine a moment like this, but figured it was just only in fairy tales.

"You know fairy tales don't come true." He said. "Huh? Oh yeah." "But I figured that maybe you would want to feel like a princess once in a while." "You're doing this because you like me..." "No! Well yeah." "Wait a minute, so you broke up with Jessica?" "Yeah, so what of it?" "Why?" "Why did I break up with her?" "Yeah." "She's a complete bitch. Don't know who would like her." "You realize that NOW, but now you're suddenly into ME?" "yeah.." "Why me?." "I don't know." I sort of felt that strange, and now that i realize it, guilty too."We're so different from each other. I have this fault within me, that if you knew, you would hate me. How can you like someone like me?" "I don't care if there's something about you that you hate, I'll still love you." It was too difficult to face this situation. I was still stuck with the thought of different guys liking me, an ugly girl. But who would i pick out of all those guys to be my love, I would pick Kasey.

"I'm going to be honest with you. I'm in love with you too. Since the beginning of our meeting back in elementary and the day I came to this school.... I fell for you, but i already liked Ruben before i remet you and stuff at my old school. Then after that fight you had with Ruben, my feelings changed for you. I thought you were really sweet, but you were a douche. Still are, sort of. You lost your memories about me, and opinions change, so I have a different impression of you now. And I realized that Ruben didn't save me that day, but you did." "Oh yeah, I did." "And you might not remember that or other things, but I'm deciding I will break up with him." I gestured to him to let me go, and so he did. "Alright. When?" "Tomorrow." "At break? I'll go with you." "Yeah sounds okay." We made it inside the Dorm Hall . "So, I'll see you tomorrow." "Yeah, okay!" We had an awkward hug left. I opened the door to my dorm and went in. I texted Ruben and told him that we needed to meet up tomorrow. He replied with a "Sure, why not."

December 7th, Friday

The next day came, the fated day that would come. Kasey and I walked towards Ruben who stood near the gym like i told him to at lunch.. He waved happily as he saw me. "You're here!" "Yup, so what's it that you want." "Um, well." It was hard for the words to come out. I didn't want to hurt him, but i also believe that this has to happen. I'm going to break up with him. "Ruben, I...I want to break up..with you." "Oh i knew this would happen." My and Kasey's eyes widdened. "WHAT!" We yelled in unison. "Yeah, i felt that it would happen soon." "HOW did you know?" "I'm a psychic. Heh, no. It was pretty obvious that Kasey liked you. HE SAVED YOU FROM A TRUCK. AND you've known each other for a long time. It's gonna happen sooner or later." Kasey blushed, but hid it from me. "Are you mad about it?' "No, because he makes a better couple with you than me. He can give you happiness that I can't. I'm just a kid that doesn't reallly know anything about love. I bet he does. So just be together, you happy penguins!" I hugged Ruben and thanked him. Within 5 minutes, it became known to the entire 8th grade that I, Stephanie Weasley De Plascencia, broke up with Ruben Of Lopez Santiago, and is now going out with Kasey of Xavier. It sounds, bad...and sluttish now that i think of it... but i guess i have to live with it. Shit will suck, but at least I'll be happy. Kasey is apparently like my soul mate, or so that's what he says. The bell rang, and it was time for both of us to go to English.

"So what are you doing on Christmas." Kasey asked while trying to wrap his scarf around his neck. "The normal thing anyone would do on Christmas. Go visit family. Eat Christmas Dinner. Present. The usual. What about you?" I responded to him. "Hanging out with my family too." "After Christmas, the 26?" "I have nothing planned." "How about ice skating with me?" "Ice skating with you? Pfft, Please." "C'mon it will be fun." "I don't know HOW to ice skate." "I DON'T know either, and we can learn together." "How about, a no?" "Rude." "Just kidding." I grabbed his hand. "Is this a yes? Are we going out now?" Kasey asked, nervously. "Whatever you think." "I'll take that as a yes."

I must admit that i blushed to his comment. Kasey and I had fault in both of our lives, but somehow I knew that we could be together. Both of us walked, hand in hand, to english class.
