ALLIE'S RETURN

Part 3

CHAPTER1 :

Chet was waking up.. in his hospital bed shaken and upset because he had just been struck with lightning again ... " man what luck , i can't believe that i was struck by lightning again ...that's the pits ... " . He also had a major migraine headache going on to which he now understood why people said they had a blinding headache because what he had now was definitely accomplishing that.

Chet was 19 years old and finishing up his last year in high school , he had just left the school grounds after track practice and it looked like a major storm was brewing close by so he was in a hurry walking home . He thought he could make it home before it cut loose on him .He was 2 blocks from home when he suddenly saw bright light and then nothing ... the only thing he remembered is waking up in the hospital just now. What he didn't know is what transpired after he was struck and how it to be he was in the hospital now. It seemed that one of his neighbors was driving towards his house when it occurred and strange thing about it was he had his children that he just picked up from middle school . It seems as though somehow after being struck that he was floating 3 feet above the ground in a bluish hazy light surrounding him . His neighbor Mr. Kines , one of his preteen kids after they saw Chet get hit . Mr. kines stopped and got out to see if he could help in some way but the eerie way that he was just floating left him Leary to approach . However his 13 year old daughter reached out and touched him and after she did the bluish glow began to ebb away and he started drifting down towards the ground ..within a few seconds he was laying on the ground. Once Mr. Kines recovered from his shock he rushed to Chet and carried him to his Van and took him to the hospital. It seemed as though a higher power was looking out for Chet  and his family were Christians.

Chet heard someone enter his hospital room .

"Hi Chet, My name is Doctor Islow and i must say your one lucky young man...i don't know of very many if any that walk away from being struck by lightning the way that you have . Matter of fact 90% of the time it kills them and the other 10% generally suffer some sort of physical or mental disorder mostly speech and or physical problems with there arms or legs ."

"Yeah that's what my doctor said in Virginia said when i was struck when i was 7 ."

"What??? you mean you've been struck by lightning before this?" Dr. Islowask.

"Yes Sir, when i was 7 , is that unusual Dr. ??"

"And you've suffered no unusual after effects from that one either?" Dr. Islow asked me.

"Nothing more than what's happening now this blinding migraine headache but then it only lasted for several days. Maybe this one won't last much longer than that one did." Chet replied.

"Well before we can release you we need to keep you here for observation least for a few days just to be sure but so far your vitals seems to be running in the normal ranges."

"Again your one heck of a lucky man to have survived 2 times at being struck by lightning with apparently no major backlashes physically or mentally much less even being alive after such a thing."

"Yes , so I've been told but my parents and i believe that God is the one that kept me safe from the last time and apparently this time as well." Chet answered.

"Well, i have my rounds to do so we'll talk again latter , OK Chet?" Dr. islow said as he left the room.

Chet's headache was still present so he closed his eyes hoping that he could sleep and maybe his headache would diminish some if he could.
