"Uh... Well... I..." Fuck, fuck, fuck. Why would I want to do that? "I don't know. I guess because most of who I hang out with now, are one and I think it'd be cool..." I trailed off when he gave me a look. "I promise you, you'd hate it. It's not fun. Besides the fact that you get a lot of strength and can run further and faster and cha- that's not the point... I'm not going to drag you into this world." He told me. "Why not? I was already dragged into your world when I found out I was mates with Mason. And when you and I started talking more. So what's the big deal? I can handle it." I crossed my arms.

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Okay, fine. You really want to become a werewolf?" I nodded. "You'd have to go to Mason. He's an alpha, and your mate, therefore, he can do it and you won't die." He mumbled something else under his breath.

"Why can't you do it? And what did you say?" "If I did it, there's a chance you could die. I'm not an alpha nor am I fully a werewolf... And I didn't say anything..." He looked down to the ground. "Liar. What did you say?" "Ugh. If Mason changed you, you'd be a werewolf... But you'd also be a female alpha, also known as a Luna, and you'd be stuck with him for the rest of your life, since you two are mates. If you do it and then try to reject Mason, there's a chance it could kill both of you." I sighed.

"I think I gave you enough information for now, so I'll be leaving. I'll see you sometime soon, I hope. Bye Aubree." Justin said and walked away. I heard the front door shut, then a car door shut, then heard the car start up.

I don't know what to do anymore. I could find a new alpha, but then I'd be stuck with him for the rest of my life... Do I take the chance with Mason or no?

"Hey..." I bit my lip. This is going to go bad...

"Uh, hi..."

I sighed, "Okay, I know stuff between us hasn't been very good... But, I'm willing to try again if you are... I was an idiot for what I did and I regret it to a point, but you were also an idiot with how you treated me."

"Aubree, I don't know if that's such a good idea... I mean, yeah, I was an asshole, I'll admit that, but you weren't a princess all the time..." He paused for a second. "What is it that you want from me?"

"I heard from a friend that it's possible to be turned into a werewolf... But only if an alpha does it..."

"You... Want to change... Into one of me... No, I'm not doing that Aubree. Not happe-."

"Why not, Mason?" I cut him off, "I'd be stronger, I could protect myself from Zeek and his gang and other people who wish to hurt me. If you say it's because you don't want to drag me into this lifestyle, too bad. You did that when you took me from my house. I can handle it."

"You know, if I did change you, you wouldn't like being connected to me... We'd have to finish mating sooner than if you stayed human... And you'd have children a few months after we mate..."

"I'd rather take anything that comes with changing, than stay as a human and an easy target to people."

He sighed. I knew he was fighting with himself about this. Hell, I am too, but I think this is for the best. "Do you really want to...?"

"Yes."

"When? Where? I want you to be comfortable when we do this. You'll most likely sleep as soon as it happens."

"Your house. Now. I want to get this over with as soon as possible."

"Why so early? You can think about it for a while. It doe-"

"Because if I think too much about it, I'll talk myself out of doing it. I want to do it now before I can come up with a reason to not do this."

"Okay. Come over when you're ready. We'll do it in your room over here."

"Thank you. Bye."

What am I doing to myself...?

I grabbed a bag and packed comfy clothes along with my laptop, chargers, toiletries, and anything else I might need. I know I left some of my stuff over there, but I don't know if they did anything to it.

I sent him a text saying I was on my way, then sent Justin one. "I think I'm going to go through with it. I'm having Mason do it at his house like right now..."

I got in my car and headed over there and I was greeted by Jordan who came running out of the house and almost knocked me to the ground. "MEAH, well hi Jordan. Thanks for almost knocking me to the ground." He smiled sheepishly, "Sorry, I'm just so excited to see you. Kinda pissed you decided to change, but glad to have you back." I hugged him, "I missed you."

"Okay, Aubree. Are you ready for this? We can do it a different time, I promise." Mason asked me. "No, I want to do this now." "Okay..."
