*LOUIS AND HARRY'S PART WILL BE POSTED SEPARATELY DUE TO THE FACT THEY ARE LONGER AND WRITTEN DIFFERENTLY*

NIALL: The morning of September eleventh, you woke up all ready feeling the weight of the anniversary come down on top of you. Niall wasn't in bed so you decided to lay there for a while longer until you decided you didn't want to be alone on this day. You  wrapped yourself in a blanked and walked out to the kitchenette where Niall had your coffee ready for you. Which was no where near as good as coffee made out of your own home.

"I took the day off today.  The boys are gonna go on and record without me."

"You didn't have to do that, Ni." You said, as he pulled you into him.

"I know how hard this day is for you, it's the least I could do. I don't want you to sit here alone."

Fourteen years ago, on September eleventh, you got a call from your oldest brother, who was twenty-four at the time, and you were ten. Your mom wasn't home at the time because she ran out to pick up a few things for breakfast. Your brother kept asking to put mom on, and you kept telling him that she wasn't home and that you wanted to know what was going on. You remember his words so clearly, "I won't be coming home tonight." You demanded he told you why, and you could hear him crying as he begun to explain you began crying. You told your brother you would always love him as your mother walked through the door. You gave her the phone and turned on the TV and watched. Your brother died in the towers that day, and it's haunted you ever since.

Now, at twenty-four years old, you were supposed to be giving a speech today in New York City, since the boys were here anyway.

"I love you princess, your brother loves you, and he's going to be standing there with you today."

"I just still can't believe it happened, to this day I try to find any way possible for it to be a dream."

"I know sweetheart, but you're so strong, you've been doing so well, and you're going to continue to be strong because I know that you can. Your other brothers are still here and they still love you as well. You can do this."

You smiled up at him before kissing his cheek, "Thank you for being here, Ni. It really means a lot."

"I wouldn't want to be any where else love."

That day you and Niall made your way over to Ground Zero. No fans stopped to ask for pictures, and the paparazzi didn't swarm you. As you stood on ground Zero, looking up at the new World Trade Center, and watching the fountains where the old buildings once stood. You felt your brother there with you, which gave you strength to give the best speech you ever could have imagined.

LIAM: The day of September eleventh, 2001, you were eleven years old. You were sitting in your living room, eight blocks away from the world trade center, your view showing the towers clearly, and beautifully. You could have never imagined what happened next. You watched the towers burn, you watched the plane hit the south tower, you watched it all. Every last second from your thirty-second story apartment. All you could think about, is how someone could do this.

Now, fourteen years later, at the age of twenty-five, you were sitting back in that thirty-second story apartment. Liam was standing behind you as you stared blankly at the new world trade center. You still couldn't wrap your head around what you watched that day. You couldn't wrap it around your head that you still were able to come back to the same apartment where you watched everything unfold fourteen years before.

"It still hurts, doesn't it?" He asked.

"I can still see them Li, I can still see the buildings standing there. I remember how my entire childhood revolved around the beauty of them, and being so mesmerized by everything about them. I remember seeing that second plane hit, and I remember seeing the dust, and the papers, and the people jumping from their offices. I remember the smell for days after, and just how broken, and completely dead it was for the days after. It's engraved in my memory and every year I remember it, and it doesn't get easier."

"You have to remember, love, you were eleven years old, and there was nothing you could do."

"That's what hurts me the most."

Liam sighed and pulled you into his arms. For the past six years you have been working as a police officer in London. Every year for the anniversary you made your way back to New York to see this place, and how it's changed. You met Liam on the eleven year anniversary when he was in New York for a show and you were standing with your old friends who moved on to become a part of the NYPD. In your Uniform, looking completely out of place, you stood there and saluted the fallen.

"You've grown to the person you are today because of what you saw all those years ago. You are strong, and so is everyone else who survived that day."

You were happy for who you became, and you could only hope you would never have to live to see another moment like that again.
