"So what are you doing after Graduation?" Sara said as she flipped through a magazine while sitting on her bed.
"I'm still not sure." I said as sat on the floor,letting Elizabeth braid my hair.
"I got accepted to Princeton!" Elizabeth smiled and tied the braid.
"That's great!" We cheered in unison.
I sighed and got up,pacing the floor.
"What's wrong?" Sara frowned as I sat down beside her on the bed.
"Just thinking."
"About?" Elizabeth combed through her long,black hair.
"Damon and school and Matt." I laid back on the bed,closing my eyes as I sighed deeply.
"Matt? As in Caroline's ex?" Sara said as she sat cross legged on the bed.
I nodded "Yeah,he's been over a lot lately. Just I don't know..I like Damon but Matt is better for me."
They nodded.

After we finished our decision we decided to walk to the diner to grab a bite to eat. Being around Sara and Elizabeth again made me realize just how distant I had gotten. They knew why but they don't really understand how difficult it is to be around humans.
"Hey is that Jeremy?" Sara said as we made our way inside the diner,He smiled and motioned us over.
"Hey" I smiled lightly and sat down across from him. I missed him so much,but just mainly our friendship and the good times we had together.
"Hey Clara." He smiled and hugged me tightly,which surprised me because he had hated me or at least what I became.
"So how are you?" Elizabeth smiled and twirled her hair.
"Good." he smiled.
"That's good." Sara smiled.

After we ate I walked home alone to find my sister on the front porch with Jeremy. I guess they had gotten together when I started hanging out with Damon more. I didn't want to make small talk with either of them so I walked straight past them and into my room.
"Maybe a nice bath and some imagine dragons would help." I said aloud as I started running a bath.
I stripped off the clothing and climbed in,closing my eyes and disappearing into the bubbles and warm water.
But the relaxation didn't last long. I heard the familiar banging on my door that only Damon did. I sighed "Not in the mood,Damon." I turned down the music and drained the tub,stepping out of it. "We need to talk." I pulled my hair into a bun and slipped on my robe. "About?" I opened the bathroom door to see an angry Damon. "What the hell did you tell your two chatty Cathy friends?" I crossed my arms "What are you even talking about?" he turned away from me and walked over to the window. "I heard them at the grill talking about vampires being in mystic falls,Clara.So don't even try to lie." his voice seemed more hurt than angry. "I told them I was a vampire.Why?" I said," I can trust them. This is probably just a huge misunderstanding.I mean Tomorrow is Halloween and they always go to parties as some kind of creature." he wasn't convinced "Just please for Gods sake keep your damn mouth shut!" he left just as quickly as he came. I sighed and changed into my pjs before trying to sleep. I tossed and turned for what seems like hours before I finally decided to just go down stairs and have some tea and watch TV.
"Great,infomercials." I flipped through the channels,my cup of tea beside me. It was probably around four in the morning now. "What are you doing up?" Caroline said as she descended the stairs dressed in tan skinny jeans and a floral top. "I couldn't sleep,nightmares." she sighed and walked to the kitchen,her heels clicking the hardwood floors."I told Matt to give you a ride to school today since I have to take the car to University today." she poured herself a cup of coffee "hope that's okay." I nodded "I like Matt,he seems cool." she smiled "I'll see you later Clar." she took her bag and coffee and left.
