                                          Alexandra's POV

I heard the sound of something making contact with skin. I opened my eyes from my laying position and focused on a figure before me. There was a man who wore camo shorts and a black t-shirt. His muscles poked through the shirt. I had to stop staring at the guy realizing that he was sitting not that far away from me and I was just sleeping. He had brown hair and green eyes.

I heard the noise again and saw he was throwing a rock in the air and catching it with his right hand; his eyes glued to mine. I jolted in a sitting position and then stood up rather quickly. The moment I stood up I felt dizzy. I put my arm out to lean against the tree behind me. My vision started to blur. I reached my other arm and rubbed my eyes and then my temples.

"Sorry to frighten you. That wasn't my intention." I heard someone speak. Once I felt I was okay, I stood up straight and looked at the man who had just spoken.

"Yeah, well when you wake up and find someone watching you as you slept... you get a little a creeper vibe and what not." I replied dusting off my clothes which consisted of the same black skinnies and red tank top along with black boots from the day before. I do not have the best wardrobe so I can't just put new clothes on left and right from my magical closet that supplies it all.

"Sorry about that. I was taking perimeter when I saw you sleeping and I'd figured that a pretty woman like you, in the forest at such time shouldn't be left along. Be glad I found you and not some psychopath." The man got up discarding the rock he had in his hand not a second ago. Wouldn't a psychopath deny being a psychopath?

"Thanks for the concern but since you have officially woken me up, which sucked by the way... I suppose I'll be on my way and let's just hope the creep from earlier who decided to scare this woman half to death does not follow." I picked up my backpack and swung it over my shoulder. I started to walk in this man's direction to leave but as I passed him he chose to speak up.

"The name is Grant if you wanted to know and if you think I'm going to let you walk off alone, then you must be crazy. Do you even have a place to stay?" I had stopped beside him looking at him the moment he talked.

"No but I'll be fine. I'll live." I huffed in a breath, "anyways, once again.. thanks for the concern Grant but I don't need your help." I walked away from him.

"I have food," I heard very lowly, "...and a house that is air conditioned. A house that just so happens to have a spare room and a nice shower."

He had a point. I was still hungry and unfortunately I just had the sudden urge to pee. I did however, desperately need a shower. I could probably just take advantage of this opportunity then leave later when he wasn't looking.

The thought just occurred to me that I have met several males in these last few days and I think they all happened to be werewolves. I sniffed the air a tad. Yep, he's a werewolf. They're all werewolves. Just my luck, haha.

Taking a deep breath I said, "Alright."

"I even have a TV an- Wait... you said yes?" Grant said shocked.

"No.." I rolled out, "I said alright."

"Oh, okay then uhh.. I guess you can just follow me. I'd stay close to me though." He looked around then back at me and whispered, "there are wolves in these woods and I wouldn't want anything to happen to my newly found roommate."

"No shit Sherlock." I said lowly but he heard it with his advanced hearing but shrugged it off.

I followed closely behind him to wherever he chose to take me. We walked for a good half hour before we came up to a backyard of a small one story house. It was tan colored and had white shutters on the windows. There was a deck patio with a sliding glass door. we walked a dirt path that looked to have been created due to usage over time. When we reached the door he stopped and looked at me.
