Everyone brought in presets from the other room. I sat on the couch with 6 presents surrounding me. The first one was a small pink box with a blue ribbon on it. I began to tear apart the wrapping paper and saw what it was. It was the whole Maze Runner series. A sticky note attached to it read:
Thought you would like these books. -Liam
I thanked Liam for the books and moved onto the next present.
--------30 minutes later
I gazed apon all of my presents. I had gotten the books from Liam, a Harry Potter fandom shirt from Sidney, a cool lantern from Tiffany, a Hermione Granger wand from Alex, and a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows poster from Jason and Tyler. But my favorite was one of those Velcro pillows that stuck together and said 'okay?' on one half and 'okay.' on the other from Peyton and Jace.
I went around and hugged everyone. One thing bothered me though. Mason hadn't gotten me a present. We walked into the kitchen and covered the cake with candles. I waked up to Mason and wrapped my arms around his waist.
"How come you didn't get me anything?" I asked.
"My present is for later. And Liam has a present for you later also." He said and kissed my head. We walked over to the table and we all sat down. With Mason on my right, and Liam on my left. Everyone began to sing Happy Birthday as Alex walked to the table with the cake. Liam pulled out his camera and started recording.
The song ended as quickly as it started and I blew out all 17 candles with one big blow. Everyone cheered and we cut the cake. Once I got my piece I walked into the living room and sat next to Mason. He was simply smiling at something I didn't know.
"What are you looking at?" I finally asked. He turned his head and looked at me, smirking.
"Look right next to the fireplace." He said. I looked near the fireplace and there was Liam and Sidney. She was laughing at something I couldn't hear. She leaned onto his shoulder and he hugged her.
"Oh my gosh! They're so cute!" I said quietly. I took the first bite of my cake and vanilla goodness filled my tastebuds.
"Mmm!" I mumbled. Mason wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I leaned into his chest. He kissed my forehead and I blushed. He was perfect.
-------About 45 minutes later
Everyone had left and Liam ended up in his room before everyone left. I sat on the couch, leaning on Mason, and watched TV. Out of nowhere the TV switched to a movie that I had never seen. I looked over at Mason and he just ignored the look, smiling.
Words popped onto the screen saying: A Film Dedicated to Hermione, Directed by Liam, and Help From Mason. We Love You Hermione.
The screen changed into a picture of me first meeting Mason. We both had a smile on our face. The picture changed into one of me talking to Logan with and ice pack on my head.
The next picture came up of me and Logan sitting in my room reading. I felt tears fill my eyes. The next thing I knew I saw a picture of me laying on the ground in the backyard with a pile of blood surrounding my head and Mason looking down at me with worried eyes.
Us as a group at the water park, me singing in their basement, me crying in my room, me laying in a hospital bed while I was pregnant, all of these flashed onto the screen. And each one brought a tear to my eyes. More pictures filled the screen.
A picture of Mason kissing me on the balcony of the hospital, me falling over in pain after Logan punched me, me kissing Mason in my hospital room after Logan cut my leg, all of us sitting in the living room having the family meeting about me staying longer. I felt more and more tears roll down my face.
A picture of me and Mason watching The Fault In Our Stars, a picture of me and Liam sitting in the backyard, a picture of Mason snuggled with me in my bed, a picture of me kissing Mason after they all jumped out during my birthday party, and finally a picture of me blowing out my candles on my cake.
Words filled the screen.
Hermione, we love you all and hope you have had a great time with us so far. -Kaitlyn
I have had a great time with you so far, I am so happy a nerd like me exists in the world. -Liam
Hermione, you are the air I breathe, the water I drink, and the food I eat. You are my everything. I don't know what I would do without you. -Mason
A final set of words flashed on the screen that truly made me cry.
'Me? Books and cleverness. There are way more important things; friendship and bravery.' -Hermione Granger. Liam and Mason believe you posses every one of those.
The TV turned black once more and Liam walked into the room. Mason got up and stood next to him. Tears rolled down my face and I ran up to both of them and hugged them.
"I love you guys!" I said between sobs. They hugged me back.
"It's true. You are the best girl we know." Liam said. I sobbed into their shirts. I kissed Liam on the cheek and Mason on the lips. This family was to good to be true.

Looks like you'll have to wait to see what happens! But now you know why Liam carried that camera with him everywhere. I am just going to apologize right now for what happens in the next chapter. Most of you will hate me. But happy birthday to fictional Hermione!
