Hanan Hustisya is known to the world as Lilim, the Shadow Detective-a mysterious detective who works behind the scenes and solves cases no one else can.
But after a dangerous case, news spreads that Lilim has been killed.
Hanan doesn't correct them.
She chooses to remain hidden, especially when she receives a vision of a city engulfed in flames, people crying and burning on the ground, and Lakan Saragnayan-the cold and lonely heir of a powerful governor's family-standing at the center of it all.
The culprit of the city's doom.
To uncover the truth without exposing that Lilim is still alive, Hanan goes undercover as a student and gets close to Lakan.
But the closer she gets, the harder it becomes to remember that this was supposed to be just an investigation.
Because Hanan is falling for the girl she was supposed to save.
And Lakan Saragnayan might be dangerous.
Just not in the way Hanan expected.
