Snap. Slursh. A reddish-black, oozing liquid sprays out of a skull as an axe is pulled from it. The rotting corpse collapses against bags of trash in the alley.

(Y/N) grimaces as she cleans off her axe. Standing tall at 6'5, she maneuvers between the decrepit, bloodied alleys of Atlanta City, Georgia.

Her footsteps are quiet as she sneaks up behind a motionless, standing corpse and takes it out with a swift strike to the head.

"Damn rotters." (Y/N) grumbles.

The outskirts of Atlanta looked more promising than the densely populated downtown area. With a grunt, she climbs on a dumpster and kicks off the wall to pull herself onto the roof of a building. She glances around the rooftop and pauses as she looks down at a bloody pile. In it, a severed hand and a hacksaw.

"Yikes." She hums to herself as she drops her bag by the edge of the building. Sitting on it, she pulls out a can of roasted tomatoes and pries it open with a spare knife.

With a satisfying pop, she eats and looks around the city, making notes about future scavenging trips she wants to make in the coming days before whoever left picked it apart.

As she looks around, her head slows and her eyes narrow. In the far distance, she sees a thin plume of smoke.

"Huh." She hums to herself.

Holding a hand over her eyes, she squints as she tries to spot where the smoke was coming from.

"Looks like a hill. Good lookout potential, though not very safe should they get surrounded." She mumbles to herself as she got up with a heavy sigh.

Dumping the rest of the can of tomatoes into her mouth, she wipes her mouth as she throws it far away, hitting the windshield of a car to give her enough time to get down from the roof and outside the city limits.

"Hope they're not stupid." She murmurs.

She is walking in the tree lines when hears a car alarming blaring. She turns from the trees, hiding behind one, and sees a red dodge challenger with a guy hollering in celebration.

"...God forbid." She sighs heavily.

Timeskip - Five Hours

Five hours of walking had led her to the abandoned Bellwood Quarry.

Her boots crunches quietly on the dried leaves. The bow strapped to her back knocked gently against the quiver on her lower back. Her axe rests comfortably on her shoulder.

'Wow, it's pretty here.' She hums to herself as she put her axe through the skull of a wandering walker.

Seeing the outskirts of the camp, she climbs up into a nearby tree and sits on it, watching the camp.

She took note of the RV and a few tents set up. Running between the tents with a rope in a knot was a boy. A small girl set by the campfire. By the boy next to a makeshift clothes line was a woman with dark hair hanging up laundry.

To her left, she watches a few men arguing by a truck. She recognizes the younger guy as the driver of the dodge challenger.

"You left him there!?" A man who set down a crossbow and squirrels yelled at a man in a white shirt.
