Chapter Nine: Too late now

Start from the beginning

I have to do this now.

Unknown POV

"I have waited for such a moment," says Morgana looking between the father and son in front of her.

"We have too. We believe in what you have said. I need him, I need his power," the father grits his teeth.

"I do what my father says," says the son but deep within he wanted to rip this women in half and feed her to some dogs, Arthur's dogs would even do the trick. He has had it up to here pretending to be someone he is not. He has had enough of everything and his father even knows that.

"I have a plan. I will help you and you will help me and we will both end up happy. I want Camelot, I want this Kingdom to myself and you want him, Merlin. You want his power and I need him out the way for any chance of taking this Kingdom back. So here is the plan, listen up because I will say this once only."

Arthur's POV (First Person)

"Merlin," I say finding him coming out of Gaius's chamber.

"What is it?" he asks me.

"I'm concerned. Some of my knights have not returned for a patrol but yet something suspicious is going on within the castle. I'm sure of it. I have knights searching the castle as we speak. Everything is falling apart since my father has been attacked. Do you have any ideas?" I ask him.

"I'm working on a plan Arthur but I'm not sure where the attack is coming from or what might be coming. We might already be too late. Your father has worsened and I can't see to do anything to heal him. I'm sorry," he says to me.

"Just do all you can that is all I can ask. I'm going to find Gwaine and Elyan...Merlin please find Lancelot and go check on the lower town, Gwen is there."

"Of course right away and Arthur don't worry," he tries to reassure me.

"I'll try not too."

Merlin's POV (First POV)

I began to search for Lancelot like Arthur had asked but after a while I gave up and decided to go to the lower town myself to check on Gwen.

I headed through the lower town edging closer to Gwen's hut when that sickly feeling I had been having washed over me too quickly and I fall to my knees, I feel so drained all of a sudden like it had washed over me from nowhere.

"I give him credit very powerful," speaks a voice from behind me.

I take a quick glance to find Jordon behind me. "Jordon what are you doing? You should stay in the castle its dangerous right now. Who knows who is in danger," I whisper.

"Oh don't worry I'm not in danger at all, but I can't say that about you," he smirks as his father Ian comes beside him.

"Emrys or Merlin. Either name don't bother me but you have caused many people problems, you are powerful and I want your magic for myself," he sneers.

I breathe in heavily it hurting my lungs, "What have you done to me?" I suddenly ask. All this time..I've been ill because of them. All this time an enemy had targeted me and I had no clue. I do now but its too late now and I know it.

"Just a simple spell to drain you of your energy its been hard to make it work on you at all really," smirks Jordon.

"How do you plan on mastering my powers? Its impossible," I spit harshly.

"That is where you are wrong," says the son.

"They have me to do that," smirks the familiar voice of Morgana.

"You," I spit angrily as pain irrupts through my body and I hiss in pain.

"It seems to be working very well now," smiles Ian.

"It does doesn't it father," smiles Jordon.

"Enough of this. We must get him out of here," says Morgana quickly.

Jordon and Ian come over to me and I try use my magic to keep them away or find the energy within side me to try get away but its no good, I'm too weak right now.

"Leave him alone he it mine!" shouts a girl voice coming towards us. At first I thought it might be Gwen but I was surprised to find that girl who I had met before coming towards us. The one Gaius had warned me about.

Gaius can be right about so many things, I even admit that. "What are you doing here?" I managed to ask her.

"It was always my task to kill you Merlin," she whispers softly.

"Then why didn't you?" I ask her.

"Because of what Gaius said and...your not what everyone says you are," she slowly says.

Jordon grabs me by my hair and drags me to my feet. "Enough we got to go and you better back off who ever you are!" barks Jordon.

"I can't do that," the girl says looking at me strangely.

"Then we will stop you!" shouts Ian.

"Calm down. Let me deal with her!" retorts Morgana looking angry. Morgana shouts a spell right at the girl but the girl rebounds the spell with ease.

"Is that all you got!" she shouts at Morgana not caring at the sight of who had just chucked a spell at her. "I'm not scared of you Morgana. You are weak, you have failed our kind way more then Merlin here!" she says annoyed now. I can see it in her face.

"Who do you think you are!" Morgana screams her rage getting the better of her and sending a spell at the girl which she didn't see till too late. She goes flying smacking against someones hut and out cold.
"Lets go."

Ian and Jordon begin to drag me and I try to struggle but only to be faced with more pain and before I could shout for help I felt myself black out.
