Rakhi at Raizada Mansion has always looked perfect from the outside.
Flowers on the banister. Sandalwood in the puja room. Silver thalis waiting with a thread meant to protect. A sister smiles. A brother holds out his wrist. The family calls it love...
Some bonds are written by blood, some by fate... and some are simply written in the heart. ❤️
Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of that beautiful bond between a brother and his sister-the endless teasing, little fights, silent protectiveness, and a love that never needs to be spoken aloud.
So, on this beautiful occasion of Rakhi, I bring you a special ArShi One-Shot filled with family, emotions, a little mischief, and, of course, our beloved Arnav and Khushi. 🥹❤️
Because sometimes, amidst all the chaos of life, it is the simplest moments with family that become the most precious memories.
✨ Happy Raksha Bandhan, everyone! ✨
I hope this little OS brings a smile to your face and reminds you of the beautiful bonds that make life special. ❤️
Now, let's step into the Raizadas' Rakhi celebration... 🌸🎀

The morning of Rakhi at Raizada Mansion smelled of fresh mogra, sandalwood incense, and the faint sweetness of kheer that Anjali had insisted on stirring herself since before sunrise. Silver thalis waited on the low table in the living room, crowded with roli, chawal, peda, and new rakhis still in their boxes.
Anjali moved through the house with a brightness that made everyone glance at one another and then look away. It was too much light for a woman who had carried so much pain.
She paused near the dining table and watched her brother.
Arnav was eating the kheer she had made, slow spoonfuls, the way he used to when they were children and she would sneak an extra bowl for him before anyone else woke.
He did not praise it loudly. He never did. But he finished every last bit, and that, for Anjali, had always been enough.
Her gaze dropped to his wrist.
The rakhi she had tied only a little while ago sat bright against his skin, the thread still slightly damp from roli.
Something in her chest loosened and tightened at the same time.
'It's time, Chote,' she thought. 'Time I give you something back in return for what you did all your life for me.'
Her eyes glistened as they moved from him to Khushi.
