What Lies Between

Hello!

This is my first time writing and publishing a Harry Potter fanfic online, so I am going to release a couple of test chapters to see if its successful. Either way I will complete this piece, but may not  upload the whole thing if it doesn't get read. 

Before you get put off by this being my first written fic, I have been reading ones for years and I am one of the top writers in my College class -- so give it a chance please!

This will be following a mostly canon storyline, so dialogue from the movies will be included with some tweaks to fit the OC.

This story features an OC created and based on myself as I feel I can portray a character the best if I can truly feel and relate what they are going through.

The OC is called Iris Clearwater, and is the younger cousin of Penelope Clearwater, making them 5 school years apart in age. 

Iris is a Ravenclaw like Penelope, and is curious, stubborn, clever. Her appearance and personality will be revealed within the fanfic. 

The story is about a slow-burn relationship between her and Theodore Nott, as well as a discovery about Hogwarts and family history alongside one another, so its more than a regular romance fic. 

This story will feature some smut, but I am not sure how much because of Wattpad's new rules, otherwise I can publish another version on AO3 with the regular amount. 

This story is set from fifth year onwards, there will be minor graphic violence (just the regular amount in HP so not loads), and any smut scenes will be taking place when characters are over the age of 16.

I am from the UK and have been a fan for years and have always wanted to write a fanfic with my own adaptation to the story, so please don't send any hate because if so it will be deleted immediately. 

I am open to constructive criticism only.
