Chapter One - The LightHouse That Should Have Been Empty

The evening sun was sinking slowly beyond Moonlight Bay when Daniel noticed something glowing inside the abandoned lighthouse.

Daniel had explored the lighthouse many times before, but tonight everything seemed strangely different from ordinary evenings.

His best friend Marcus stood beside him, carrying a small lantern and watching the restless waves below.

Neither boy knew that their simple evening exploration would soon become the beginning of an unforgettable adventure.

Daniel pushed open the ancient wooden door, which groaned loudly beneath his trembling but determined hands.

Inside, the lighthouse smelled of salty air, old timber, and forgotten memories that seemed almost alive.

Marcus lifted his lantern higher, revealing faded drawings and mysterious symbols covering the walls around them.

"Those drawings were definitely not there yesterday," Marcus whispered, while carefully examining a strange golden symbol.

Daniel stepped closer and noticed that several symbols appeared connected by lines resembling a complicated map.

Before either friend could understand the markings, something beneath Daniel's shoes suddenly produced a deep hollow sound.

The boys exchanged nervous looks before Daniel slowly moved backward and examined the wooden floor.

One floorboard looked noticeably different from every other board surrounding it, and Daniel immediately pointed toward it.

Together, they carefully lifted the unusual board and discovered a small metal box hidden underneath.

The box was covered with strange scratches, tiny stars, and an unfamiliar symbol shaped like an eye.

Marcus touched the metal carefully and immediately pulled his hand away because the surface felt unexpectedly warm.

"How can this possibly be warm when the entire lighthouse feels colder than the ocean tonight?" Marcus asked.

Daniel had no answer, but his curiosity became stronger when he noticed something moving inside the box.

He carefully opened the lid and discovered an extraordinarily beautiful compass resting against a piece of faded blue cloth.

Unlike ordinary compasses, its silver needle was pointing upward toward the moon instead of any direction.

Daniel slowly lifted the compass, and a faint blue light suddenly appeared beneath its ancient glass.

Marcus stared at the glowing object with wide eyes, realizing that they had discovered something nobody would easily believe.

A sudden crash echoed from the upper level, causing both friends to freeze completely in the darkness.

For several seconds, neither boy moved because they were convinced someone else had entered the abandoned lighthouse.

Daniel raised his lantern while Marcus quietly picked up a long wooden stick lying beside the staircase.

They slowly climbed the spiral staircase, listening carefully for another sound coming from somewhere above them.

When they reached the next floor, they found an empty room containing only broken chairs and dusty windows.

The windows were covered with thick salt stains, yet moonlight somehow entered through a narrow opening.

Daniel noticed another symbol carved into the wall, and the compass immediately began glowing brighter.
