Felix head to to bed because he has school tomorrow, he turned off the lights and went to sleep, It was moring and Felix woke up to eat breakfast and get into his school uniform, he packed his bag, he packed his mechanical webs, he packed his suit, and he walked to school. "HEY FELIX!" Said Leo, "yo whats up", said Felix, "so are you actually Spider-man?", said leo as he whispered, "yea i am", said felix as he also whispered, "well cya in 3rd period", said leo as Felix nodded. Felix got into class peacefully, but his eyes laid on something... its like Felix likes her, thinking about he, but the teacher called on him to answer his question, "Felix, solve 3x² + 7x − 6", The teacher said, but Felix didn't here, "teacher its 0", said rowan, "thank you rowan unlike some people" said the teacher, "huh yea teach", said Felix, "i'll give you another question, solve 2x² + 5", said the teacher, "oh uh... 43?" Then shoya appeared at the entrance, "i got you kid" The mimic charged at Shoya, "HOLY SHIT!", said Shoya, Shoya blocked the attack but the force pushed him across the hallway,"Felix get everyone out of here", "Got it" Felix ran toward the students
"EVERYONE OUT NOW", said shoya.
The students started running toward the exits
Leo stayed behind, "Leo what are you doing" said felix, "I'm not leaving you" said leo, "BRO GO" said felix. Leo finally ran, Felix turned around and saw the mimic standing behind Shoya,
"Shoya LOOK OUT" said Felix, Shoya turned around just in time, The mimic swung at him and Shoya blocked it. Felix shot a web at the mimic and pulled it away, "HEY UGLY COME GET ME"
The mimic looked at Felix, Its body started changing again, This time it looked exactly like Felix. Felix froze, "Okay that is creepy" said Felix,
The mimic copied his stance, Felix raised his hand and The mimic raised its hand too,
"Oh you gotta be kidding me", said felix.
Shoya looked at both of them, "Felix" said shoya, "Yeah", said felix, "Which one are you", said shoya, Felix pointed at the mimic, "That one", said felix. Shoya stared at him, "Seriously" said Shoya, "Worth a shot", said felix, The mimic suddenly attacked, Felix jumped over it and landed behind it,He noticed something glowing inside the mimic, "Shoya" said felix, "What" said shoya, "Its chest", said felix. A small blue light was glowing inside the creature, "That might be its weak point", Felix said, Shoya nodded, "Then hit it", Felix shot two webs at the ceiling, He swung forward at full speed, The mimic charged toward him, Felix pulled himself closer, At the last second he released the webs and kicked the mimic directly into the wall. The creature's black energy cracked, Felix landed on the floor, "Did I do it" said Felix, The mimic stood back up "Never mind" said felix, The creature roared and the entire hallway shook, Felix looked at Shoya,
"Yeah we definitely need backup", said felix.
Suddenly the school lights went out, "Uh Shoya", said felix, "I know", said Shoya, The mimic disappeared into the darkness,
Felix looked around, "I hate this" said felix, A loud crash came from the gym, Shoya looked toward the sound, "It's moving" said shoya,
Felix followed him. They entered the gym and saw the mimic standing in the middle of the court, But it wasn't alone There were several smaller black creatures around it, Felix stared at them, "Yeah nah there's no way" said Felix, Shoya got into a fighting stance
Stay close", The creatures rushed toward them,
Felix fired webs at the floor and pulled two of them together. Shoya knocked another one back,
Felix swung across the gym and landed near the bleachers, Then he noticed something
"They re all connected", said Felix, Shoya looked at the creatures, "What do you mean", said shoya,
"The big one is controlling them", said Felix, The mimic turned toward Felix, Its body started glowing with black energy, Felix pointed at it
"Okay then we take down the big one" said felix,
Shoya nodded, "I'll distract it" said Shoya. Felix looked around the gym, "Then I got an idea" said felix, Shoya ran toward the mimic, Felix shot webs onto the basketball hoops, He swung around the gym faster and faster. The mimic followed him with its eyes, "Come on" Felix swung directly toward it, The mimic raised its arms, Felix released the webs, At the same moment Shoya attacked from behind, The mimic was knocked forward Felix landed behind it,
He quickly shot webs onto its arms and pulled them apart, The blue light in its chest became brighter, "SHOYA NOW" yelled Felix.
Shoya rushed forward,!He struck the glowing spot, The black energy around the mimic shattered All the smaller creatures disappeared,
The mimic fell to the ground, Felix slowly walked toward it, "Is it over" Felix said, Shoya looked down, "I think so", Shoya said, Felix sighed,
"Thank god", said Felix, Then the mimic opened one eye. "Wait" said shoya, A tiny black crack appeared across its chest, Felix stepped back
"Oh come on", but then its fell back down and died. Felix changed out of his suit, and Shoya nodded at him and Shoya teleported, Felix walked home, then he took a bath and ate dinner, finally he hit the hay. The next morning Felix woke up and looked at the time. "OH SHIT IM LATE" Felix quickly got dressed and grabbed his backpack. He ran downstairs and ate breakfast as fast as he could. "Felix slow down" Shoya said. "I can't im gonna be late" Felix grabbed his bag and ran out. When he got to school Leo was waiting outside. "Yo Felix" "Yo" "You almost late again" "Yeah I know" They walked into the school together. "So what happened yesterday" Leo asked. Felix looked at him. "I told you already I don't know" "Bro you literally fought that thing" "I know" They walked into class. Rowan was already sitting down. "Felix you missed the homework" Felix froze. "WHAT HOMEWORK" Rowan laughed. "I'm joking" "Bro don't do that" The teacher walked in. "Alright everyone take your seats" Felix sat down and looked at the board. The class continued until the bell finally rang. Felix packed his stuff and walked into the hallway with Leo. "What class you got next?" Leo asked. "Science" Felix said. "Same" They walked together toward the classroom. Rowan caught up with them. "Yo wait up" Felix turned around. "What's up?" "Nothing I was just going to ask if you guys wanted to sit together at lunch" Leo looked at Felix. "I'm down" Felix nodded. "Yeah sure" The three of them walked into science class and sat together. The teacher started explaining the lesson while Felix looked around the room. Everything felt normal. For once he didn't have to worry about fighting anything. When lunch finally came around they all sat at the same table. "So Felix" Rowan said. "What?" "You still gonna keep your secret?" Felix looked at Leo. Leo shrugged. "It's probably better if nobody else knows" Felix nodded. "Yeah" They continued eating and talking until the bell rang. Felix grabbed his bag and stood up. "Come on we're gonna be late" Leo said. Felix laughed. "Alright alright I'm coming" They headed back to class without knowing what the rest of the day would bring. The final bell rang and Felix packed his bag. "Finally" Leo said. "I thought that day was never gonna end" Felix laughed. "Same" They walked outside together. "You going home?" Rowan asked. "Yeah probably" Felix said. "Alright cya tomorrow" Rowan said as he walked away. Leo looked at Felix. "You wanna hang out?" Felix nodded. "Sure" They started walking around the neighborhood while talking about random stuff. "So you really got a whole Spider Man suit?" Leo asked. "Yeah" Felix said. "And it's made with Yuki's tech" Leo looked surprised. "That's actually crazy" Felix laughed. "I know" They kept walking until they reached a small park. Leo sat down on a bench. Felix looked around. "I haven't really had a normal day like this in a while" Leo looked at him. "You good?" Felix nodded. "Yeah I'm good" They stayed at the park for a while until the sun started going down. "I should probably head home" Felix said. "Yeah same" Leo stood up. "Cya tomorrow" "Cya" Felix walked home and opened the door. Shoya was sitting on the couch. "How was school?" Shoya asked. "Normal" Felix said. Shoya smiled. "Good" Felix dropped his backpack on the floor and went upstairs. He changed out of his school uniform and sat on his bed. For once everything felt peaceful. "Maybe things can actually be normal" Felix said to himself. The mimic lay motionless on the ground. Suddenly the rift above the school began pulling the remaining energy out of it. The black energy lifted from the mimic and slowly moved toward the rift. Felix looked up. "Uh guys" Shoya looked at the rift. "That's not good" The rift absorbed the energy and started glowing brighter. Felix stared at it. "So it just took all its powers?" Shoya nodded. "Looks like it" The rift slowly closed after absorbing everything. Felix looked back at the mimic. It was completely still. "So what happens now?" Shoya sighed. "We go home" Felix looked confused. "That's it?" "For now" Shoya said. The next morning Felix woke up and got ready for school. He grabbed his backpack and headed downstairs. "Morning" Shoya said. "Morning" Felix grabbed some breakfast and sat down. "You thinking about yesterday?" Shoya asked. Felix nodded. "A little" "Don't worry about it too much" Shoya said. Felix finished eating and left for school. When he arrived Leo was already outside. "Yo Felix" "Yo" "You ready for another boring day?" Felix laughed. "Hopefully" They walked into the school together. Felix looked up at the sky for a second. Everything seemed normal again. He had no idea that the rift had just changed something much bigger than the fight at school. The next morning Felix woke up before his alarm. For some reason he couldn't explain it he felt like something was wrong. He got dressed packed his bag and headed downstairs. "You're up early" Shoya said. "Couldn't sleep" Felix replied. Shoya looked at him for a moment. "Be careful today" Felix paused. "Why?" Shoya shook his head. "Just a feeling" Felix nodded and left for school. When Felix arrived Leo was waiting outside. "Yo Felix" "Yo" They walked inside together. Everything seemed normal. Students were talking teachers were walking through the halls and the bell was about to ring. Felix stopped for a second and looked toward the windows. "What?" Leo asked. "Nothing" They kept walking. Then Felix heard a strange sound. A low ringing noise echoed through the hallway. Felix looked around. Nobody else seemed to notice. "You hear that?" Leo asked. Felix looked at him. "You hear it too?" Before Leo could answer the lights flickered. Then everything went silent. Felix looked toward the end of the hallway. A small crack appeared in the air. Not a rift. Something different. Felix slowly stepped back. "Leo" "Yeah?" "Get everyone out" Leo looked at him. "What are you gonna do?" Felix put his backpack down. "What I gotta do" Leo nodded and started moving the students away. Felix ran into the bathroom and opened his bag. He pulled out the Spider Man suit and quickly put it on. He stepped back into the hallway as the crack grew larger. Felix looked at it. "Alright" He raised his web shooters. "Let's finish this" The crack suddenly exploded with energy. Felix shot a web onto the ceiling and swung forward. The entire hallway shook as he disappeared into the light. Outside the school Shoya looked toward the sky. He saw the light coming from the building. His eyes widened. "Felix" Inside the school Felix landed on the other side of the crack. He looked around. There was nothing but darkness. Then he heard footsteps. Felix slowly turned around. A figure stood in the distance. Felix raised his fists. "Who are you?" The figure stepped forward. Felix stared at it. Then the figure spoke. "You really thought the rift was finished?" Felix froze.
