Prologue

I never thought my life could take such a turn. I never thought that i could love two people more than myself. I didnt think that i was even capable of having so much love in me.

Yes. The two most important people of my life were- you guessed it- Jay and Rosie. Rosie was so cute yet i felt so protective of her. Now i know why my own parents and family (especially Michael) was protective of me.

I brushed my brown hair while Rosie sat in her rocker chair and played with her toys. It was morning and i had to take Rosie shopping. For someone so small her sizes were always changing.

Jay was as usual busy in the office. I always thought that the higher ranked people had it easy. Now i know how hard it was to keep your pack and family safe all the time. It was a tough job. I almost felt sorry for Jay but i knew he hated people showing sympathy to him.

Getting up from the dressing table i made my way to Rosie.

"Is baby ready to go out with mama?" I asked.

Daughter and mother needed some alone time with one another.

"Doll," Rosie held up a barbie doll.

I smiled wide. Rosie just said a new word!

"Thats right babygirl. Its a doll," i said, picking her up.

Going downstairs i was met by Riley. She was one of the most awesome Lunas a pack could have.

"Morning Luna," i said happily.
"Oh hush Reanne. We are now friends. Cut the formality," Riley said, pulling me in for a side hug.

I had found new friends in the face of Riley and Pamela. The two were really good to me and Rosie. They were almost like her aunts.

"Are you going somewhere?" Riley asked.
"Yes. I am taking Rosie out shopping," i said.
"I would love to come but William has a few guests over from other packs," Riley said, tickling Rosie.
"Guests? Jay didnt say anything about it," i said.
"Yeah. From the neighboring pack. They are conducting a meeting," she said.
"I hope it goes well. I better get going," i said.

Heading towards the office i knocked a couple of times before i was told to come in. William was sitting at his desk working on some papers while Jay was working on the laptop. He looked up as we entered and gave me a heart warming smile.

"Morning Reanne," William smiled at me.
"Morning Alpha. Sorry to disturb you but i am taking Rosie out shopping," i said, looking at Jay.

His dark hair were messy already. That made him look like a knight. My knight. I licked my lips unconsciously and watched as Jay's grey eyes darkened.

"Of course," Jay said, his voice getting husky.

I tried to move but the way Jay was looking at me made me rooted on the spot. I felt unable to move as i stared at Jay's expressive eyes until a throat cleared making me jump slightly.

"I believe you had to go shopping?" William asked, grinning as i looked at him.

I blushed at his remark and quickly made my way out of the office without looking at Jay knowing i wouldnt be able to go out if i stared at him for long.

"How's my niece doing?" Seth asked, popping out of nowhere.
"Geez. You scared me!" I exclaimed, placing my hand on my chest.
"You mean i scared the shit out of you," he grinned.
"Oh hush. Dont use such fowl language in front of Rosie," i scolded him.
"You are becoming exactly like mom," Seth laughed.
"Oh stop it," i said, feeling embarrassed.

After chatting with Seth i finally made my way out of the pack house. The day was a fine summers day with a bit of warm air blowing around. Rosie started playing with my hair as i walked to the garage.

Unlocking Jay's black Audi(his car was a black Audi right?) I strapped Rosie in her car seat before settling in my own seat and starting the car. I started humming to the song playing on the radio.

"Lets go grab some clothes," i said, settling Rosie in her pram.

Rosie garbled some unintelligible words making me laugh. We made our way inside the mall and to our first stop. After doing the shopping i was extremely exhausted and hungry as well.

I felt someone trying to enter into my mind and opened the mind link.

'How's my little wolf doing?' Jay asked.
'Tired. Shopping tires you out,' i said.
'Where are you right now?' He asked.
'Still at the mall. I was thinking of having lunch with Rosie,' i said.
'Mind if i join?' He asked.

I could almost hear the smile on his face.

'Of course. Where do you wanna meet us?' I asked.
'How about that thai restaurant that opened up?' Jay asked.
'Sounds good,' i said.
'Great. I will meet you there,' he said.

In the restaurant i dropped my phone and went to pick it up leaving Rosie a few steps away from me. Once i stood up i noticed two teenagers trying to scare my baby girl. They were both boys but i didnt care. I felt anger seeping in and marched towards them.

"What are you two boys doing?" I growled, placing my hands on my hips.

The boys who were laughing, stopped and stared at me.

"Nothing mam," one boy stuttered, while the other slapped him on the head.
"You are a hot mama," the other said, looking me up and down.

I didnt grow up with two brothers without learning nothing you know.

"What did you say?" I asked slowly, narrowing my eyes.
"You are a hot mama," the boy said, while the other took a step back.

Elisa was just as annoyed as me. How dare he say that to me in a flirtitious way?

"You messed up with the wrong girl buddy," i said, quickly reaching forward and grabbing his arm.

I twisted his arm and his face scrunched up in pain. Looser.

"If you ever want to have kids then i suggest you stop flirting," i growled, kneeding his balls.

He fell on the ground, writhing in pain while clutching his balls. Flipping my hair, i held Rosie's pram and walked to a vacant table as Rosie clapped her hands.

Nobody should mess with mama wolf.
