Let's get one thing out of the way.

Yes... this book has pictures.

Before anyone starts judging me, hear me out.

I love visualizing characters, outfits, campuses, and little moments. The pictures are here to help bring the story to life—not to replace it.

This isn't one of those stories where every chapter is ten screenshots and then:

They looked at each other.

He smiled.

They kissed.

Chapter End.

No shade if that's your thing, but that's not what I'm trying to write here.

My goal is for the pictures to add to the experience while the story does the heavy lifting. There will still be long chapters, character development, awkward moments, emotional chaos, bad decisions, and hopefully enough tension to make you yell at your screen.

Will this be a literary masterpiece worthy of being analyzed in an English class? Probably not.

Will I make you stay up until 3 a.m. because you said "just one more chapter" seven chapters ago?

...I certainly hope so.

A few things before we begin...

This story contains themes that may not be for everyone, including:

Mature language

Romantic and intimate scenes between consenting adults

College partying

Alcohol use

Recreational drug use

Jealousy

Anxiety and emotional conflict

Family issues

Heartbreak

Occasional poor decisions made by people whose brains are still developing (because... college).

These topics are included as part of the story and aren't meant to encourage or glamorize risky behavior.

One last thing...

Please be patient with me.

I'm human.

There might be typos.

Characters might randomly decide to become comedians.

I may accidentally fall in love with a side character and give them way too much screen time.

Updates might not always be lightning fast because life happens.

But I promise I'm putting my heart into this story.

So laugh with the characters.

Cry with them.

Yell at them when they make terrible decisions.

And if Nolan makes you kick your feet and giggle...

Just know I was probably doing the exact same thing while writing him.
