Honestly, this story spent a long, long time in hiding. For the longest time, this story lived only in locked folders, scribbled notes shoved in drawers, pages I rewrote a dozen times, and sometimes just deleted because I wasn't sure if anyone should see them. I can't even tell you how many drafts I ran through-some felt too rough, others just too personal or messy, and I didn't have the guts to share them. There were plenty of nights I'd just stare at that blinking cursor, wondering if I'd ever feel ready to let these words escape my own little world.
But here we are. Today, I finally did it.
This is my first story out in the open. It's far from perfect, but it's all mine-every single word, twist, and feeling comes straight from me after who-knows-how-many do-overs. So first off, I want to thank myself for sticking with it on the days when doubt felt louder than the story and anything else. And yeah, thanks to those stubborn little voices in my head, the ones that wouldn't let my characters fade away.
Most of all, thank you-you, right now, reading this. For clicking on this story in the first place, for giving someone new a chance to be heard. Every view, every vote, every comment? It means the world to me. Because of you, these pages finally get to come alive.
