Chapter 1 - The Last Train

The city was almost asleep.

The last train was about to leave, and the platform was nearly empty. Y/N tightened her grip on her bag as she walked toward the train.

Just as the doors were about to close, someone stepped inside.

A young man dressed in black.

His hood hid most of his face, but his calm presence somehow made the entire train feel quieter.

Y/N looked away, pretending not to notice him.

The train started moving.

A few minutes later...

The lights flickered.

Once.

Twice.

Then everything went dark.

When the lights came back, every passenger had disappeared.

Only Y/N...

And the stranger remained.

Y/N's breathing became uneven.

"W-Where is everyone?"

The stranger slowly stood up and looked at her with an unreadable expression.

"They're gone."

"What do you mean... gone?"

He walked closer.

"My name is Jungkook."

He paused before saying quietly,

"And if you want to see tomorrow's sunrise... trust me."

Outside the train windows, there was no city anymore.

Only endless darkness.
