You've been part of the Kidd pirates for years now and your boyfriend was your captain, no one would've ever thought you two would be a thing let alone kidd being in a relationship and yet here you guys are. Two dynamites. Well... you didn't feel like one. In fact you felt you weren't strong enough to be with the kidd pirates. You already knew kidd was over protective of you even when you could fight by yourself. Or so you thought you could fight by yourself. You wanted to prove to kidd that you could go on dangerous missions too just like the others instead of always watching the ship.

"Hey captain I'll just run some errands for you on the island since ____ is watching the ship today"

"Alright go ahead"

"Alright see you captain and good luck on your mission!"

"Hah I don't need luck" he said with a smirk and rolled his eyes. Ah kidd so confident, brave and tough you loved that about him so much.

So you secretly took one of the dangerous missions and lied saying you'll do one of the easier missions.

The easier mission was to get stuff for the ship and get metal stuff and pretend you're a local of someone on the island to get info about whatever

but the harder one was to convince the leader of this island to help your pirate crew with getting the one piece (imagine any island with any leader of ur creations idk) you ofc baught metal stuff and hid them nearby where the leader was and you went up to the leader and asked if they could help but the leader refused and when you politely kept going to explain why you needed their help they struck first. Luckily kidd and the others were at the island for missions too and kidd heard those familiar sounds he was hearing which very much came from you. Kidd's jaw dropped in shock and made a small gasp then quickly went to your direction.

Good thing he wasn't far.

This leader is very impatient for anything. a no is a no and yes is a yes anything more is just a waste of time to this annoying leader. You faught back with everything you had but next thing you knew your eyes were nearly closed and unable to move at all. You did see one small thing before your eyes closed for real.

You saw that familiar red soft coat appear in front of you and heard his voice but didn't hear what he said before your eyes closed.

You woke up in the infirmary and you knew it was on the ship. Good thing the medic was watching the ship.

"You're lucky you're alive" the medic said "How long was I out..?" "A week" your heart dropped

You did not think it could go this bad... now felt guilty and scared for how your captain also boyfriend will react to know that both you disobeyed him, lied, and put yourself in danger worrying him too

"Ohhhhh shit..." (time skip to when your all healed up)

You knocked on kidd's bedroom that you shared with him "come in." You hesitantly entered and the room instantly felt heavy you could feel that rage and worry from him from across the room

You closed the door and locked it and took a few steps, stopped then started to explain yourself "kidd... I am so... sorry... I lied and disobeyed orders... If you want I'll do all the chores for a while-" he got up suddenly which made you stop and freeze. Even you did not dare to mess around with him he's intimidating as fuck

Once he looked at you oh man those eyes... intense, pissed, but also... so so relived

He slowly walked up to you and stood there staring into your soul not breaking eye contact one bit

You looked down and started to confess why you did it

"I did it because I felt weak being left to watch the ship all the time and wanted to prove I'm strong enough to go on missions like the rest of you but... clearly I'm still weak- no... the weakest in the crew... I truly don't belong here especially at the fact I lied and disobeyed my own captain..." you were holding in your tears voice clearly shaking "...and if you want you can... you can break up with me or... kill me... or throw me overboard or-" "oi" you stopped talking but still didn't move your head or eyes anywhere you just continued looking at the floor

"You're not weak. The very reason you're on this ship is because you're strong enough to be on this ship." That made you relax a bit "BUT..." you froze again and tensed up which of course kidd noticed

He notices every small move you make he's very observant which also somewhat scared you but also loved as well

"...you will never... ever... do that again. Understand?" "Oka-" you said very softly and quietly but he didn't finish "I was worried sick, do you have any idea what could've happened if I wasn't there????" You stayed quiet tearing up again feeling so bad "I could've lost one of my most strongest crew members" that's what made you look up and you saw a look you never thought you'd see... his eyes still intense but... more fear and terror at the thought of losing you

He lost someone once and will make sure that won't happen again EVER.

"Oh kidd I'm so sorry..." you hugged him so tightly. He accepted the hug because no one was around and in fact even hugged you back with his one arm so that he can feel you "I'll never do that again... I love you so much kidd" "hell yeah you're not... and you can also forget about chores as a punishment..." "OvO..." you stopped and froze knowing what's gonna happen "...cuz I have a much better idea." You looked at him with a smirk and saw his usual mischievous grin as well knowing what's to come

You were excited but also nervous even though you guys did this before.
