"Today is our one month anniversary so don't be late!"
He reads as his phone blinks and holds a text from Kyungsoo's girlfriend. He unlocks his immensely large phone and types back, "Yes of course honey" he gathers his things, puts his black suit on and fastens a tie the color of snow underneath his collar. Just as he was about to leave, he remembered he hadn't fixed his hair yet. He squeezed out some gel to slick his hair back and brushed a comb through to get it the way he wanted it. He grabbed his keys from the coffee table and rushed outside to his car. On the way, he felt anxious and thoughts of not making it in time came to his mind. He hated to be late to anything. He arrived at the restaurant his girlfriend had wanted to meet up at. It was very large and fancy. The restaurant was made of red bricks and the inside of it was wooden and had a fire place for a decoration. He looked around and spotted his girlfriend sitting alone and looking bored. He quickly walked toward the table and as he began to pull out his chair to sit he complained, "why didn't you just let me give you a ride? You know I hate letting you get here by yourself." His girlfriend replied, "it would have wasted time. You would have wasted more gas to come pick me up also." She looked at him as if it was normal for him to complain. They carried on with their dinner. They laughed, smiled, and enjoyed the evening out. It had been a long time since Kyungsoo had enjoyed being out. He didn't like going out much since he was always so annoyed every time a human breathed. After they had enjoyed the night out, full of hugs and kisses, it was time to go home. "Can I give you a ride home?" Kyungsoo asked, pondering on her answer. "I have my car, also I'm tired so I think I'll just call it a night." She said, not even looking back as she walked towards her red car to open it. He half heartedly smiled and got in his car. On the way back, he got a text from his girlfriend telling him that she had accidentally forgot to get the book he borrowed from her the other day. "I can't talk now, I'm driv--" he didn't get to finish his text. He had lost focus and had ran into a crazy drunk driver and his black car had spun towards the side of the rode hitting a metal pole. He laid there for about thirty minutes before cop cars and an ambulance came. He was unconscious and everything to him was black and unbearably painful. The car had been dented in the front and the side, if it wasn't for luck being on Kyungsoo's side, he would have died. With a major head injury and a minor injury to his spine as well as a dislocated shoulder, the paramedics rushed to carefully pull him out and put him into the ambulance. He was hooked up to IV's while someone took care of his wound on his forehead. The excruciating pain from someone applying pressure to his forehead made him gain consciousness. Both his hearing and his vision were blurred. He tried to look around, turning his head to the right and then to the left. He couldn't make out where he was or what had happened but he couldn't exactly ask anyone either. He stopped trying to figure out what was going on and closed his eyes again, only listening to the faint voices in the background. "Hey he's cute can I look after him" "No Jongin. You can't have every patient you think are attractive." "Oh come on, look how adorable and helpless he looks. He needs me" "no, he needs to rest and recover. If you want to take care of him until his full recovery, ask supervisor Junmyeon"
