Sunoo was the kind of person who made the world feel softer. He greeted everyone with genuine kindness, laughed with his whole heart, and carried a warmth that seemed impossible to ignore. Beneath his sweet smile was a sharp mind and a quiet resilience, making him far more than the gentle omega people assumed him to be. He shone naturally, like sunlight spilling through a window, brightening every space he entered without even realizing it.

Sunoo had a soft kind of beauty, the sort that didn't need to announce itself to be noticed. His face carried gentle lines, bright eyes that curved like crescents whenever he smiled, and a warmth that seemed to linger even after he stopped speaking. There was something almost unreal about the way he looked under different lights—sometimes sweet and boyish, other times quietly striking, as if he belonged in a memory you couldn't quite hold onto.

People often found themselves looking at him twice, not because he demanded attention, but because he didn't have to.

Age: 19

Sunghoon was quiet, controlled, and hard to read. He didn't open up easily, preferring to keep his thoughts and emotions to himself. People saw him as distant or intimidating, but it was really just his habit of staying composed and careful with who he let close. Beneath that calm surface, though, he was steady and deeply loyal to the few things—and people—he allowed to matter.

Sunghoon had a tall, lean build that naturally drew attention the moment he walked into a room. His features were sharp yet balanced—defined jawline, straight nose, and calm, steady eyes that gave him a cool, distant look most of the time. His expression often stayed composed, almost unreadable, adding to the quiet intensity he carried without trying. There was an effortless elegance in the way he looked, like everything about his appearance was refined without ever feeling forced.

Sunghoon wasn't someone who reached for people.

He lived in control—of his words, his expressions, even the space he took up in a room. People admired him easily, but he rarely let any of it touch him. Attention passed over him like wind over stone. It didn't mean anything. It never had.

Until Sunoo.

At first, Sunghoon didn't change. He still watched more than he spoke, still kept his distance, still told himself that noticing someone wasn't the same as wanting them. But Sunoo didn't behave like something that could be kept at a distance. He was too warm, too bright, too effortless in the way he filled silence without trying.

And Sunghoon—who was used to silence being safe—started to notice it more when Sunoo wasn't there.

He didn't know what to do with that. So he did what he always did. He held it in. He stayed composed. He stayed still.

But stillness, for the first time, didn't feel like control.

It felt like waiting.

Sunoo wasn't someone who entered a room quietly.

He noticed people easily—their habits, their silences, the small things they tried to hide. And Sunghoon was impossible to miss, even when he tried not to be noticed. Tall, composed, always a step removed from everyone else, like he existed behind glass no one else could reach.

At first, Sunoo thought he was just intimidating. The kind of person you admired from a distance and didn't expect anything from.

But Sunghoon wasn't cold in the way Sunoo expected.

He was controlled.

And Sunoo started noticing the moments where that control almost slipped—how Sunghoon's gaze lingered a second too long, how he never quite looked away quickly enough, how he always seemed to know where Sunoo was even when he wasn't trying to show it.

Sunoo didn't know when it changed from curiosity to awareness. He only knew that Sunghoon started taking up more space in his thoughts than he did in the room.

And for someone like Sunoo, who was used to warmth being returned easily, Sunghoon's silence felt different.

Not empty.

Just... held back.

And somehow, that made it impossible to ignore.

I'll be publishing the chapters soon. Please don't judge since this is my first book and I'm not that good at English. I'll add side characters later on.
