It was a beautiful, sunny day for a walk through the park. Birds flew across the sky, children ran around laughing, and the water beside the sidewalk stood perfectly still, the sun's rays shimmering softly on its surface. Jisung sat on a bench wearing sunglasses, an oversized white shirt, and light blue baggy jeans. In his hand, he held an ice cream that had started melting because of the heat. Gentle drops of chocolate-flavored ice cream slowly slid down his arm. He noticed it and wiped the sticky trail away with the other hand, the one holding a tissue.

Jisung was a twenty-four-year-old college student with dark brown hair, the same color as the ice cream in his hand. He lived in an apartment with his best friend, Felix. Jisung adored playing the electric guitar, and besides attending university, he also went to music school. He was a very introverted person, which meant he didn't have many friends besides Felix, whom he had attended high school with and now lived together with.

Felix knew every problem Jisung had, and Jisung knew every problem Felix had. They told each other every secret and understood one another deeply. They were each other's support, shoulder to cry on, and comfort. No one knew Jisung as well as Felix did.

Unlike Jisung, Felix was extroverted and always surrounded by many friends. He was confident and secure in himself, incredibly handsome, and whenever he walked down the school hallway, everyone would turn to look at him - boys and girls alike. Almost everyone fell in love with him, but he wasn't really the type to get into relationships. In his life, he had only been in two relationships. One was with a girl, and that relationship was a complete disaster.

Felix was bisexual, so his second relationship was with a boy, and it could be said that it was much better. The relationship lasted around two years, but they broke up because Changbin, his ex-boyfriend, had to move to Thailand. Changbin insisted they shouldn't break up and that they could have a long-distance relationship, but even though Felix loved him, he simply couldn't handle long-distance relationships. It bothered him too much.

Jisung had been sitting in the park for nearly two hours. When he checked the time, he stood up and headed toward the apartment. On the way, he threw the used tissue into a trash can. It was around seven in the evening, and the sun had already started setting, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. Jisung left the park and made his way to the bus station to catch a bus home.

When he arrived at the station, he sat down and pulled his phone out of his pocket. When he turned it on, he saw a missed call from Felix and a message from him.

Felix - I'm at Hyunjin's place. I'm staying the night here, we have to work on our biology project. I made brownies for you, they're on the table. I know you love them.

Jisung smiled softly and liked the message Felix had sent him.

After five minutes, the bus finally arrived. Jisung got on, took a seat by the window, put on his headphones, and let the rhythm of the music carry him into a world of thoughts and imagination - a mix of things that were real and things that weren't.

Jisung often thought about life and his future plans. Ever since he was little, he had imagined himself standing on stage with a guitar in his hands while thousands of people supported and loved him. The truth was, Jisung had always loved playing guitar, and he had always wanted to become a singer.

He constantly searched for places or companies that might accept him, but almost all of them rejected him. He decided to take a short break and focus on writing more songs. So far, he only had two songs, both a little sad, but Jisung loved them. His songs were always written based on his feelings, and every one of them carried its own story.

Many nights, Jisung would stay awake until late and eventually fall asleep at the desk where he worked and wrote songs. He often had nightmares about being rejected by everyone and never achieving his dream. He knew that even if someone accepted him, he would have to work incredibly hard from then on. He even thought he would probably stay awake until dawn just to finish a song. But he didn't care. He truly wanted to achieve his dream, even if it cost him sleepless nights and exhausting work.
