This is not a Y/N story - you will be living through the main character and her background and experiences. I have included a bio in the following chapter for her and her cohort; if you were hoping for a Y/N self insert story, you are out of luck, but this way everyone gets to live vicariously through what should be a unique experience for all reading.

This is an OT7 story - it does contain Heeseung, also known as Evan, as a minor character. His part in the story is brief; he is not a main character and will not be a main character, as not all of ENHYPEN are. This is not a commentary on OT7/OT6 and any fighting over that in the comments will result in you being blocked. In a perfect world he would still be part of the group but we don't know them and what happened behind the scenes, so best we can do is support ENHYPEN and support Heeseung solo. I loved all 7 before March 10th, I will continue to love all 7 after March 10th. Any issues with that, argue with the wall.

It should go without saying, but this is a work of fiction, the personalities and events described are completely made up and I am in no way claiming any of the members are actually like this.

For those unfamiliar with Omegaverse dynamics, I highly recommend referring to the Wattpad A-to-Z guide to Omegaverse as it will cover the majority of the dynamics you need to understand. The major difference that this story has over other standard Omegaverse dynamics stories is that it contains the "Golden" variants.

Golden Variation:

Golden Alphas are a superior subgenre of Alpha that normal Alphas cede pack authority to; they are generally more attractive, smarter, more athletically gifted than standard Alphas and exude a much more complex, layered Alpha scent. They have the ability to subdue and calm unbonded Golden Omegas, regardless of the affinity between the pair, almost like a pheromone "master key". This is a critical difference between Golden Alphas and Alphas, as an Alpha can only subdue and calm a Golden Omega if they are open to and share high affinity with the Alpha.

Golden Omegas are a superior subgenre of Omega, they are mentally quick, physically stronger, taller, exude more complex, layered scents compared to Omegas and they have the ability to resist the advances and scenting of Alphas - their enhanced genetics allow their inner Omega to be more selective in choosing a worthy mate but can still be influenced by a Golden Alpha if they are insistent on it prior to the "safety" of bonding.

In line with standard Omegaverse rules, once a Golden Omega has bonded and scented with an Alpha of their choice or a Golden Alpha, their scent essentially deactivates for other Alphas and they can only be pheromone influenced by their own pack.

For the purpose of this story, Omega heat cycles are synced with the coming of a new moon, making them more common and inline with menstruation, however ruts are on more of a quarterly cycle, happening in line with Lunar eclipses which occur 3-4 times a year. While an Alpha can knot an omega during a heat to calm and soothe their heat cycle, actual breeding requires the Alpha's rut cycle to have synced up with the Omega's heat cycle.

Pack Dynamics:

Given this Omegaverse's breeding can only successfully occur when an Omega's heat cycles sync with an Alpha's rut, the world's population has significantly begun to drop in this story's universe; only Betas that are unaffected by breeding cycles and are essentially normal humans can continue to have children "accidentally", but Beta families are limited to 2 children per household, unless either of those children presents as an Alpha or Omega, in which case they are allowed to have an extra child.

This dynamic has lead to the second generation of Alphas and Omegas as they reach adulthood starting to form pack bonds; groups of Alphas that share close brotherly bonds and compatible non-competing scents coming together to share a compatible Omega they wish to bond with and provide for.
