BEFORE YOU READ👇🏻
This is my first book ever so if its kinda off please don't mind.
English is not my first language but I'm confident in my writing skills so I hope you guys will fuck with this book as much as I think you will. If there are any mistakes please don't hesitate to point them out.

I'll be listing down all the triggers.
⚠️:
- scenes and mentions of sexual abuse.
- psychological thriller.
- heavy angst.
- strong language, drinking, smoking, drugs.
- sexual content.
- mentions of heavy topics like eating disorders, panic attacks, trauma etc.
- detailed torture.
- killing and death, blood shed.

If yall are like me and like to know if the book ends with a happily ever after because some books have traumatized you, I'd like to make it clear that yes this book WILL have a happy ending no matter how tempting it was to deny them one.

The information on the characters in this book will be revealed as the story progresses, hope you guys will enjoy the journey.

Though these characters are inspired from real life people, none of the events happening in this story are related in any way to reality. Any resemblance to real life is purely a coincidence.

It's a painful slow burn, so buckle up as this story's going to keep you on the edge of your seats.

I'll try to be consistent and post a chapter once a week.

The apartment was dimly lit, the ceiling to floor windows surrounding the room portrayed a world which seemed too out of reach. The rain drops were falling sharp on them as though the sky was shooting bullets. Sounds of punches being thrown on the punching bag filled the room, syncing with the sound of rain drops. A phone rang, interrupting the rhythm. Jisung sighed and wiped his face with the back of his forearm. He unfastened the gloves and removed them from his sweaty palms, wiping them on the towel hung beside.

He picked up the phone without looking at the caller-id, there was only one person who called him this late at night. "What now, Chan? Miss me already?"

The sound of shuffling could be heard on the other side of the line "You wish. I have a mission for you, meet me in my office in 20" Chan said and hung up the phone before Jisung could respond.

Weird. Usually, they meet up at the alley behind his building. Jisung took a quick shower and wore the first clothes he could spot. He ran a hand through his blue hair, not bothering to style it. Grabbing the mask kept on the desk beside his bed, he took his house keys and left for Chan's office.

Han Jisung has two separate lives, he is the heir of the Han Corporation and also the brain behind one of the most powerful mafia organizations, the Solenne. There is neither a name nor a face to him in the organization. He is the only one who lives outside the base since his identity is a secret to everyone, including the members of Solenne except Chan, their leader.

He was dressed in a black hoodie and black sweatpants with his hood pulled all the way up to his face, his mask covering the lower half of it. He made his way to the base, entering through the back escape route. The door had a digital lock so complex that Jisung could never have cracked it open if he wasn't the one to create it.

Chan's office was tucked away in the far corner of the base. The door was left open for him to enter. Jisung slipped inside and locked the door behind him.

"So, what's the deal? You have never asked me to come to your office ever since the time I got my first mission. Everything alright?" Jisung asked, taking his hood and mask off. The tension in his body relaxed and he dropped down on the couch in front of Chan, who was nervously shifting in his rotating chair.
