"D-D-Derek" Aly let out a deep breath through her words. How? Why? What? Her head was starting to hurt and she was shaking. This was way to much to take in. She had no idea what to say, do, or think. She decided to do the first thing that popped into her head and usually seemed to work in most cases. Run. Run as far as she could. She wasn't sure at first where to go but then she decided that home would be safest. As she turned the corner she heard Derek's voice faintly yell in the distance. "ALEX WAIT!" She couldn't wait. She didn't have the strength to have a full conversation about what just happened. Especially not with the person she least expected it to happen with.

Once she made it to the front door she reached into her pocket and grabbed her house key. She tried to unlock it, but because she was freaking out so much it wasn't working. "Deep Breath" She did exactly what she said and tried again. This time it opened. "Finally" she sighed. She went straight to her bedroom instead of her father. Only because she knew that this wasn't really something her dad was best at giving advice on. It's times like this she kind of wished she still had a mom. A tear slowly fell down her face as she blinked. This was no time to think about it.

Aly jumped onto her bed and wrapped the sheets around her body. Fox then jumped onto the bed next to her and snuggled close. She quickly grabbed her Ipod and and earbuds to listen to some music. She just sat there drowning her thoughts into every song until her mind was clear and she was calm. After hitting pause, taking her earbuds out, and giving Fox a quick kiss on the nose she walked over to her computer desk and sat down in her rollie chair. She did a quick spin then made a group video chat with Amber, Paul, and Zach. If there was anyone she could talk to about this it was them.

Amber was the first one to respond. "Hey!" she said with an excited grin. "Hi" Aly responded with the complete opposite attitude. "Okay so did someone die or did you just wakeup from a nap?" Amber laughed slightly. "Neither" She stated with no emotion. "That means somethings wrong!" Amber said suddenly really concerned. "yeah.. bingo!" Her attitude was enthusiastic for a moment and then returned to depressed. "What's going on Aly?"

Before she had a chance to answer Amber someone responded to her call. "Its Zach" Aly said more to herself but loud enough for Amber to hear. To their surprise both Zach and Paul's face appeared on her computer screen in the same box. "Heyyy!" they shouted they shouted in girly voices at the same time. Normally she and Amber would respond in tough guy voices but currently she wasn't in the mood. "Oh no!" Zach gasped in shock. He turned to Paul. "No tough guy response!" Paul said over dramatically.

"Aly's upset about something." Amber said seriously to shut them up. "Not quite upset really... more like, confused and on edge." Aly interrupted as she noticed Zach and Paul look down in shame for a moment. They all quickly met Aly's gaze. She looked down and then back up. Everyones eyes were focused on her. She knew what would happen next and she was busy barely ready for it but she knew it was time. Then the three all said in complete unison "Talk."

Aly took a huge breath and let it out. "Okay" she said. So then she began to explain everything that had happened that was important leading up to tonight. How she felt bad for Derek. How she lied to Mr. S so he wouldn't get expelled. And that's why she had detention and was home so late. Finally she explained what had happened just barely ten minutes ago. They all asked me who it was that I kissed and when I gave them the answer they didn't look so thrilled. Especially Paul he look like he was going to explode with anger even though he wasn't really showing it. Aly just can read him like a book.

"Oh my gosh!" Amber was the first to speak. "Wow" Zach followed. "So did you, er, like... the kiss?" Paul asked shyly. Aly quickly looked at him and then to Zach, then Amber. They were all waiting for an answer. "All I can say is.. I've never felt anything like it before." The room went silent. No one dared to say a word. Finally Amber once again interrupted the silence. "Well, if you need us we're here!" She said in the kindest and most supportive voice with a sympathetic smile on her face. "Definitely!" Paul and Zach said in a similar tone.

"Thanks guys but right now all I need is a good night's sleep. I have a feeling there will be some type of drama tomorrow." Aly said now nervous at the thought of what would happen. "Well good luck!" Amber started. "And good night" Zach continued. "Good Light!" Paul finished, gaining everyones attention with some strange glares. "What?" He asked defensively. "It's Night... plus... Luck! Get it!?" They all continued to stare at him as if he had 3 heads. "Well bye now!" Aly said taking the chance to end the conversation before Paul went into great detail on his terrible word play. "Night!!" Amber, Zach, and Paul shouted waving bye to their screens as she turned off her webcam.

Some sleep is exactly what she needed. It would give her time to dream and relax. Most of all she could escape reality and just drift off. She hopped onto her bed and was followed by Fox snuggling next to her. She threw her blanket over the two of them. Then she reached over and turned off her light. She turned over and closed her eyes and almost instantly she was out of it. If she was gonna be ready for whatever may happen tommorow she couldn't waste time.

Yah.. so this has been done for a while I just kept saying I should get to the juicy part first but I guess in order to keep you interested you wont get the awesomeness till next chapter!
