6th grade:

Henry walked into the classroom. He stopped at the doorframe and scanned the room. His gaze landed on a blonde boy who was already looking at him. A teacher, who smiled at him, passed past him which made him snap out of his thoughts.

Miss Walter said loudly "everyone sit down!" Henry quietly watched from the doorframe as everyone sat down. Miss Backhaus looked at him, so did he at her but she adverted her gaze towards the class again. "Class, we have a new student! Meet Henry!" She gestured her hand towards him and he just stood there while everyone looked at him.

He cleared his throat. "Hey, I'm Henry." The class just quietly observed him. Miss Walter pointed at the guy with a buzz cut and his eyes wandered towards him. "You can sit down next to Luca." Henry walked towards Luca without breaking eye contact.

He sat down next to the Luca and looked forward. Luca glanced at him. "Hi, my name is Luca and what's your name?" Henry looked back at him. "My name is Henry." Luca answered shyly. "Do you wanna hang out after this lesson in break?" Henry just nodded in response.

8th grade:

Their teacher was explaining what trans sexuality was. They were sitting in opposite side of the classroom. Henry raised his hand. The teacher was interrupted by him and asked. "Yes, Henry?" "I don't really get it. Those people are so strange." The teacher, Mr. Turhan got confused. "What do you mean by that?" Henry thought a little before answering."Well there are only two genders. Male and female, so for them it's strange that another gender appeared." "I don't get it?" Henry sighed. "For normal people it's strange. Some aren't used to that." "And what do you mean with normal people?" Henry just went quiet and slightly glared at his teacher.

Luca, who sat on the other side of the class watched Henry talking and couldn't help but admire his best friend. His voice, face..just everything. "At least a distraction from the lesson.." he thought to himself and was relieved that he finally had an excuse to look at Henry. Their classmates, Lucy and Grace sat near Luca a little in front of him. Lucy sat and was bored until Grace nudged her side with her elbow. Confused Lucy looked at Grace. "What?" She whispered and Grace whispered back. "Look at Luca and where he's looking." Lucy carefully glanced back at Luca, who was distracted at looking at something and tried to figure it out. She looked in the direction and noticed that he stared at Henry. Grace and Lucy quietly snickered.

The lesson felt like an eternity because the boys weren't interested in this theme. But luckily the clock hit 9:25 and it was finally over. Luca wasted no time, took his backpack and walked over to Henry. His heart fluttered when Henry looked into his eyes for a split second before they landed on an annoying boy, Gabriel.

Gabriel, who always needed attention, annoyed Henry as always. Luca watched them talking and glared at Gabriel, who was now looking at him."What? Jealous?" He slightly gritted his teeth and forced a cold lie. "No. Why would I?" Henry looked at Gabriel and huffed. "Luca, let's go. We won't waste our time on him. Henry walked away and Luca trailed behind him.

They passed their classmates into that bright hallway and took the stairs down to their floor. The next lessions until the lunch break passed by quickly.

Henry stopped in front of Luca, that annoyed expression nowhere to be seen. "Wanna secretly go to Edeka? I'll pay." Luca was slightly taken back, since Henry actually never payed. "Yeah, sure. Why not?" "That's what I wanted to hear." He gave Luca a smile and they started to make their way outside.

It was cold outside, the wind gliding through their hair. There was a teacher so they stopped their tracks. Luca turned his head to Henry. "What should we do?" "Trust me. I know a way." Luca just stood, waiting for Henry to say or do something. He felt a hand wrap around his wrist and he got dragged forward. He could feel his cheek reden but luckily it was cold, so it was an excuse.

They ran a little until the school wasn't in sight. A quiet disappointed sigh left Luca's lips and he asked, looking directly at Henry, who catches his breath. "Do you think someone saw us?" Henry smirked. "Who cares? As long it's not a teacher, it's fine."

They went to EDEKA and arrived there. Luca was hungry for chips. "Wanna get some chips?" Asked Luca Henry. "Sure" So they walked towards the chips section.

Luca picked a chips bag and sighed. "I don't have money." Henry started smirking. "Don't worry, I'll pay for it for you." Luca felt his cheeks reddden. "Thanks."

Henry payed for the chips and they headed back to school. While they walked back to school they ate the chips and talked about random stuff.

Back in the school they walked towards the bathrooms. Suddenly an old teacher named miss Schäffer started screaming at them. Both of them stopped. "WHERE WERE YOU TWO AT?"

Henry tried to explain but the teacher didn't listen to him and continued yelling. Anna and Nerea looked at them getting yelled at. Both of the girls tried not to laugh.

"We were in edeka." Henry admitted when the teacher stopped for a moment. The teacher started yelling again, but before she could call their parents the bell rang and the two boys ignored her and just walked away towards their class.
