 "Ow, calm down on the pulling Akutagawa, you might break my neck." Atsushi hated having to act like a dog but it was for the mission after all. They were looking for an ability user named Mary Shelley. They said she could create sentient beings out of corpses that would fight for her amongst other things. Still he didn't know why Dazai had Atsushi wear the collar. He said it was for "teamwork" reasons.

"Shut it Jinko, I can't bother to disappoint Dazai-sensei because of your blathering." Well someone is in a good mood today. Atsushi thought to himself. Now that he thinks about it ever since he got this stupid collar and leash on him Akuttagawa has been acting weird. He's been looking at everything besides Atsushi, and there's a slight bump sticking out of his pants, and he's been holding on really tight to this leash.

"Sorry Akutagawa, but really lay off on the leash." In response Akutagawa yanked the leash as hard as he could. Atsushi had to gasp for breath afterwards, this was gonna be a rough mission. "Okay I get it, no need to try to kill me here." Atsushi decided to leave Akutagawa alone as they walked on.

Akutagawa seemed to get increasingly more distraught as the walk continued, he even seemed to be walking weird now. Atsushi tried to pay it no mind but it got more noticeable with each passing minute. "Akutagawa, is something wrong? You're walking weird." Atsushi immediately regretted his question when he was yanked YET AGAIN towards Akutagawa. Now that he was closer to him Atsushi could see the faint flush on Akutagawa's face.

"It's none of your business Jinko. I'm perfectly fine, you're just being a nuisance." Akutagawa practically spat out Atsushi's "name" and was clearly unhappy, but that's to be expected. Atsushi was still a bit concerned but he really hated how it felt when his leash was pulled and would do anything to not feel that again. When is this mission gonna end? Atsushi thought. They've been walking for what felt like forever and with Akutagawa's weird mood and behavior, he wasn't enjoying this very much.

The collar around his neck was getting unbearable by now. He couldn't believe he was stuck like this for however many hours this would take. I wish I could get some ochazuke right now. Atsushi just HAD to be hungry right now just to add to his pile of dislikes at the moment. Akutagawa still hasn't said much but he seemed to be walking normally again, so Atsushi guessed it was something in his shoe. "Can I talk yet?" Atsushi was getting way too bored of the silence even to the point he wanted to talk to Akutagawa. Speaking of Akutagawa, he responded with a grunt to Atsushi's request, so Atsushi took it as a no. At least Akutagawa didn't tug on his leash.

The two continued to walk when they heard a crash from somewhere in the distance. Akutagawa already had Rashomon ready to strike as the two ran towards the noise. There they saw a walking corpse coming at them. Atushi couldn't even take a breath before Rashomon pierced through the corpse's what would be heart. The thing was still for a second or two until it came tunneling at them for an attack.This time Atushi attacked as his arm transformed into a tiger's as he struck the walking corpse.

The corpse was still moving even after the duo had struck him. Then they heard some more noises from around them, more corpses came out of the dark to come at them. The two fought the undead relentlessly but the corpses just wouldn't let up.

"Get out of the damn way Jinko. You're gonna make me fail this mission."

"'Make you fail?' I'm the one helping you! If you didn't have such an ego maybe we would be able to work together." Atushi was getting a little pissed at Akutagawa but they've done this dance plenty of times before. He still can't wrap his head around why Akutagawa refused to work with him. It doesn't matter that damn corpse was still... alive? Whatever it was, it was still moving.
