Abominations or Nature order?
In TVD Universe, Vampires are often called as abominations, especially by Witches (mainly Esther and Acestors), but is it true?
Do we really believe, that someone, who can't even cast fertility spell and needs to "sell" the firstborn of every generation to their sister is able to go against the Law of Nature and create such a powerfull creatures as Vampires?
It was said numerous times, that Vampires are gona destroy nature, when, if you think about it, they should care about it more than anyone... like, who is gona live here in 500 years? We, or Vampires? Who has more reasons to protect nature? One little mind play and Green Peace can continue doing their "job" with numerous annonymous donations from "generous" (read long living) beings.
Humans are slowly destroing this planet and are overpopulated, which leads to deforestation in order to build new housing and more polution in the air and less trees to clean said air, so if the Vampires decided to hunt only bad people, like rapist, abusers, trafficers, etc. they would be creating better and safer world for everyone... or maybe if every prison had, let's say monthly blood donations for "people in need", that could be labeled as prisoners doing something good or some redemption act.
The only Vampires, that I would label as bad for the nature are from Twilight Universe, mostly their so called "vegetarians"... they call themselves better than other 'cause they only hunt and feed from animals, but isn't that worse?
In this world there are so many bad people that in the eyes of humanity deserve to die, or suffer, but they decided, that living of blood of animals is better... even when they mention in books (and movies), that animal blood doesn't keep them full for long. What does that means? More death animals!
In TVD Universe, Stefan Salvatore says he is better, because he hunts animals, but he is far worse than his brother. HE is the one that destroys nature ecosystem and is even proud about it?!
Not to mention they are always called immortal, but that means 'never dieing' or 'unable to die' while in technical terms, they are only harder to kill...
The proof can be found with the White Oak tree, that was burned to ashes, yet later a new sapling grew...
In the End, Nature Balance is still intact, because Nature is force, that cannot be manipulated in long run.
When something is meant to happen, it will happen 'cause Mother Nature allows it to happen.
