[Sam goes to her mom.]
Samantha: Hey Mom?
Mrs.Clide: Yes?
Samantha: Could you drive me to the park?
Mrs.Clide: I just give you your phone back and you already ask to go somewhere?
Samantha: Logan needs to talk to me.
Mrs.Clide: No. You won't be hanging out with that bad influence boy any longer.
Samantha: Mom!
Mrs.Clide: Don't "Mom!" me. What I say goes.
[Samantha storms off to her room.]
Samantha: Oh my... GOD!!!
[Samantha calls Logan.]
Logan: Hello?
Samantha: I can't meet up. Sorry.
Logan: Why not?
Samantha: Mom says so.
[Mrs.Clide barges in.]
Mrs.Clide: Give me the phone.
Samantha: Why?!
Mrs.Clide: NOW!
[Samantha hands over the phone and Mrs.Clide puts it up to her ear, walking out of the room.]
Logan: What is going on?!
Mrs.Clide: Hello Logan. This is Sam's mother speaking.
Logan: Oh.... uh... hello Mrs.Clide.
Mrs.Clide: So, tell me. Why are you taking my daughter to parties and being a bad influence?
Logan: Ma'am I never intended on being a bad influence. We were invited to a sweet sixteen.
Mrs.Clide: Oh really?
[Mrs.Clide walks into Sam's room.]
Mrs.Clide: Samantha! Was that party a sweet sixteen?
[Samantha nods, a tear streams down her face. Mrs.Clide lets out a sigh.]
Mrs.Clide: I will drive Sam to the park in a few minutes. She'll have an hour and that's it. Got it?
Logan: Yes ma'am!
Mrs.Clide: Goodbye.
[She hangs up.]
Mrs.Clide: Sam you are lucky to be off the hook just this once!
