As I worked in my study the sky accepted or more like swallowed the sun filling the world with golden light that peeked through my windows. With coffee in my hand a pen in the other I filled out last paper work of my last case that had lead me through thousands of sleepless nights, breakdowns and moments where i thought i should just give up.
But at the end I found peace, being a part of someone's justice was my biggest happiness. The more i stare at the stack of files the more i feel prouder because that's how many people got justice because of my verdict.

Meet me—Aakriti Sinha— born to obviously rule the world, but in different ways. One of the best detective in the city away from fame and paparazzi close with peace and justice, that's just who i am.

Finally the sun sets down and the moonlight fills the room, coffee now finished, pen almost out of ink. And work? If that ever ended god knows what I would have been doing but for now I was done with this case. Just as I was about to leave for the cabin of my senior to submit my files I heard some footsteps. My senior—Sir kartik— enters the room. Before I could even greet him he begins, kind of with a panic.

"See aakriti i know you just got of this case."
He said with a weird panic in his voice.
"but there's a cold case collecting dust since almost a decade now. I really want you to be involved in it."

With that i replied "whoa okay tell me about it but before take these files related to the last case."
She said with a panicked excitement.

"Thanks Aakriti I knew you would accept it."
He replied sounding relieved.
"About 8 years back we received a report about a missing girl. Her name was saachi, age 20. She was missing since a week already and there were so traces of her. Last seen at her college bus stop and then boom she vanished into thin air."

"Sounds like a revenge?"

"We thought the same but it literally lead to us no where. Saachi's dad is a well known doctor in the city her mom is a gynaecologist there's no scope of rivalry unless they hid something. And I know there's no one better than you. But I just want to let you know the clues and the statements led to one person —Sidhharth."

Aakriti shocked as hell.she said"Siddharth?"
The name didn’t sit right. Not with the man the world knew.
"The well known profesor of the University of law and justice? How does that even makes sense."

Siddharth—A well known professor at the "University of law and justice" made for the people and works for the people. Loves evidences cause according to him evidence is all the starts and end a case and he's not wrong.

"Well for that reason, I'm handing this case over to you."

"Sir you just gave me another reason to make coffee my oxygen again. But I kinda love it."

"Ofcourse you to afterall the Aakriti i know is obsessed with hard to achieve truths."

With the news bomb sir kartik just threw on me i being to drive home playing music on the radio but I was not actually paying attention to it. In my mind I was trying to connect the dots and they did not lead me through prof siddhart at all. I mean a teacher who teaches justice couldn't really to this right? Or maybe I'm wrong all along.

With a strong feeling in my gut,Something told me this case wouldn’t just change the truth.
It would change me.
