I was folding my laundry in the laundry room, when I heard a loud thud on the door. I saw a baseball bat and held it close.

"Come in, I don't bite!" I yelled.

But no response. Suddenly, the door opened and I hit the man in the face. I was shocked to find out it was my twin brother, Michael. He got a black eye from the attack

"Ow!" He yelled, "Why'd you do that!?"

"Sorry," I replied, "Self defense."

"You know if a burglar or a thief came in, we would've heard it."

"I already apologized!"

And soon, he left the room to go tell Mom and Dad, so I already knew I was going to be in trouble.

Being in my family isn't what you expect. Especially as the female twin.

I am always thrown with responsibilities and duties. As for Michael, the male twin, he is way more relaxed. He doesn't have to do anything for attention, while I have to get an A+++++, just to make my parents say they are proud of me. I don't really think it's fair to be honest.

"Maria Roberts! Come down this instant!!" my dad yelled.

I rushed down the stairs, but accidentally tripped in the laundry basket. Michael started laughing so hard, he forgot about his black eye.

"Oh my days, Mia," he laughed, "I think you need a doctor more than I do because your clumsiness is so ridiculous!!"

"Shut up, Michael!" I yelled.

"Maria," Mom asked, angry but disappointed, "Why would you hit your brother. Look, now he's hurt."

"You are grounded, young lady!" Dad yelled, "No electronics until you are done with your exams, and since you didn't even start your exams, you won't have anything! Do you understand!?"

"Yes, Dad," I sulked.

"Good, now go fold the laundry."

I stormed off to my room and locked the door. I wasn't going to fold any more laundry, so who would?

I took my iPad, because my parents haven't taking my things yet. I never noticed how loud the volume was, and heard my name being called a lot.

"Open this door now!!" My dad yelled.

I decided to unlock the door, so I couldn't listen to all the yelling and I handed my dad my iPad and my phone. Soon, they left to treat Michael's black eye. I found myself looking around the house for something to do. As I looked in my parents' room. I saw a pink, rosy book on their bed, and opened it. I found out:

It was my mom's diary!
