I stood to my feet, the cold air brushing against my dark skin, I took in the surrounding area, the cove looked beautiful in the morning light. The sunlight shone bounced off the endless snow, melting it only slightly. The world around seemed to slow as I left the porch behind. My shoes wetting as I paced myself towards the cave, the trees that stood tall against the cove, held themselves up handsomely with snow hindering off the edges of their leaves.

Tyler followed close behind me, his bulky frame brushing against the winter hold of trees. The Cave made its mark in my memory, it opened like a mouth in the earth, the snow halted on the inside of the cave, burrowing its way into earth like mole digging its way through the dirt, poking its head up for sunlight, the peak of the cave, "helloooo" my voice echoes throughout the stone development. I take one step inside and the click of my leather boots stretch the limits of sound.

"Hello!" Elise yelled as she rain from deep within the stoney tomb, I sat still as she rushed up to me, giving me a deep but affectionate hug, my eyes looked up at tyler, awkwardly with a embarrassed smile on my face, he looked down at me and smiled back, his blondish brown hair shifting away from his eyes. As she pulled away, she said "close your eyes and hold out your hands". I followed her instructions, she laid something in my hands, it was long and hard, a dirty joke crossed my mind as I opened my eyes.

In my hands stood a large firm stick, fitted with a fashioned sharp rock at the end held together by a long vine that I wasn't sure where she had located that exactly but to be honest, I didn't really care. As long as she cared for me, I had no problem with whatever she did. I smiled, it felt as though my whole world shifted, she walked back towards the darkness of the cave, she waved one finger at me to follow but we both obeyed without hesitation, as she led us deeper into the cave, the light faded but the frigid feeling remained, as we reached the end of the cave, she used a familiar fire spell and ignited the cave around us with light, the small ball of fire hovered just above her palm and I couldn't help but be slightly amazed.

As the light was being produced, I noticed that the vines that surrounded the were tied flawlessly onto my makeshift weapon were perfectly flourishing against the stone walls that surrounded us, In front of us stood a fire, one that was burning on dry sticks that she had supposedly found outside and dried them off overnight. I moved closer to the fire to hold my hands over the flames. "You might wanna stand back". And so I did, I moved about two paces back as I saw her take the ball of fire from her right hand and hurl it into the already burning fire, turning the slightly harmful flames into exquisitely beautiful blue flames. I managed to step back further as the fire expanded in a short but still lethal pulse. I stood strong watching as she laid down her fur coat and walked over to the corner grabbing a stick of her own.

Although her stick did not have a sharp rock self imposed onto it. She handed that one to Tyler, who looked at me with anticipation and shrugged before looking back at Elise. "You will have to defeat each other before you face me" I grabbed my stick with both hands, Tyler proclaimed "Finally!, a chance to fight". I smirked and said "you'll have to catch me first!" He grabbed his stick that in comparison was much shorter than him and I laughed and pointed at him and his short weapon before his face got red and swung his rod down hard in a horizontal fashion, I dodged that attack with ease as I slid backwards, my head hit the rock wall, tyler took this chance to target me, locking on and swinging his stick relentless, as I stood there pinned down, blocking every blow with a wooden stick, once he tired, I kneed him in the stomach and he fell to the ground, hard, gasping for air, I kicked him onto his back and spear still in hand, I pointed it at his face, I thought he was down and out, but he swiped his large firm hands at me, the first one I dodged jumping up in the air making sure that both my knees hit him hard in his stomach, the second one I missed and clipped my legs tripping me up in the process, I fell onto my back, he stood up, still gasping for air, holding his toned waist, he swung his weapon hard at me, again, and again and again, I parried each blow until he started stomping at me, his heavy booted feet echoing as his steps came closer and closer to my head, I rolled out of the way, and got behind him, my initial thought was to try choke him out from behind but I knew that would never work, so I stood at the ready, I threw the spear at the back of thigh, his left leg, the spear grazed the back of his leg, leaving a deep cut, he screamed out in pain and fell to one knee, this time I took the advantage and with a running start I sped towards him, with one fell swoop knocked him out with a singular kick, two feet to his back, he fell towards the cold hard rock filled ground with a large *THUD* That was heard with a indescribable echo that pierced the ears of both me and Elise.
