nyx the cannibal

Chapter 0

Her head was banging , her vision slowly became blurry as time passed, but she still stood up , trying not to fall under the weight of her health condition . Nyx could sense the piercing feeling going through her chest coming at any moment, that feeling that haunts her since childhood. She knew he was there, too far for her to see him , but close enough to make her pass out in less than twenty minutes .

It's coming back again

She thought as her mind tricked her again, anticipating the movement of the young man in front of her in the five minutes that were coming , but also making her lose touch with reality . The trees around her felt so far away so close as much as the sound of the feathers in this dark night . Sensing her body being out of space and the common urge to dig her fingers under her flesh . The pressure on her chest crushed her as she tried to find a solution .

- " Breathe , at least for two seconds-!?" Nyx choked on her words as the young man strangled her from behind with his arm. She searched for any helpful ideas to get her out of this situation .

The man wasn't that tall, at least not so taller than her , in this short moment of anticipation ,she felt the second arm of the man moving. Nyx quickly took it , swept him around , making him fall on the ground , she seized this opportunity to strike him in the side of his neck. The unnamed adult let out a groan, and in this moment of weakness , the sick child stabbed him in the throat , his eyes widening as he took his last breath .

Nyx threw the blade away , sighing out of relief.

But for her the fight wasn't over , and unfortunately , she couldn't win this one , she couldn't win a fight against him.
She sensed him coming closer, her vision darkened, and the noise around her being with parasites .

As the sound became messier, she passed out . And in the small second that remained , she played the same exact words from a year and a half .
