It was the city of Milan, Italy.

Rain tapped softly against the tall glass windows as faint flashing of police lights painted the marble walls in shades of blue and red.

The siren noise echoed throughout the street as the police hurried inside the mansion.

The five-story mansion stood like a silent giant in the darkness, hiding secrets behind every door.

The body was still on the couch.

Mr.Aessandro vittor-millionaire, a beloved public figure that everyone worshipped, Now laid motionless in the center of the luxurious living room. His head leaned slightly to the side, one arm hanging loosely over the velvet couch.

At first glance-it looked peaceful.

Almost like he had fallen asleep.

But the pale colour of his skin and the unnatural stillness of his chest said otherwise.

Detectives and forensic teams moved quietly around the hall, trying not to disturb the evidence. Photographing the scene and carefully collecting the evidence. Expensive painting hung on the walls. Crystal chandeliers glimmered above them. Everything looked perfect, execpt for the dead man in middle of it.

The smell of expensive cologne mixed with something metallic.

Blood.

Not much though.

And that made it even stranger.

"You're late again, Agent raven" A familiar hoarse voice called out behind me.

I turned around to see my supervisor-Giovanni

His light brunette hair was messy and wet from the rain, and the faint shadow of stubble along his jaw made him look effortlessly cute as heck. And my secret crush I've had on for a couple of months

"My apologies, Agent eagle." I replied calmly

His gaze then shifted toward the body.

"This case is sensitive" he said as his gaze never left the body.
