Umeji was just sitting at his bed fidgeting.It was midnight but he couldn't sleep as he woke up from the most unsettling and messed up dream ever.He didnt have any dreams like this before, not even his fever dreams were like this abomination
"I should drift back to sleep now" He said. But his heart was still racing.The "people" he saw in his dreams weren't regocnizable at all. He covered his upper body with the blanket properly to feel comfy. Even though that dream was messed up and traumatizing, he didnt think much about it.
But as more days passed those dreams got more horrific and ACTUALLY scared umeji.
One day he couldn't handle it as the duration of those dreams were getting longer too. One of his foreign friends Kai had came to his country and took a room in a hotel next to Umeji's house. Kai was a great therapist and pyschologist in Ukraine with a high paying salary.It had been a long time since they met so Kai decided to live next to his house for a few days before returning back to his usual busy life. Umeji knew he had a lot of experience in those type of fields so he thought it could be great visiting him and talking about this strange dream thing.
He went to Kai's hotel. Umeji knocks at his door"Kai,open up..it's me !" Kai opened the door and a smile put up on his face really quick but he saw that Umeji's face was down and he looked quite stressed. "Bro,what happened ? You look you got throught something bad." "I guess you can say that." Umeji replies, his tone quieter than usual. Ok tell me what happened,Umeji."Kai askes full of curiosity and that tiny hint of worry in his expression. "Lets talk about this patiently, get the chairs please." "Uh..ok !" Kai got up to get two chairs for them both and placed a coffee table in between with some water, and biscuits for Umeji that kai bought from his favourite store from Ukraine. "Ok, now tell me what's up." "Y'know kai, i've been having these strange dreams lately an-" Before Umeji could finish his sentence, Kai interrupts. "Must have been a fever, then." "Let me finish, kai..i have totally no fever ! And these have been happening for almost like, a month..okay ?"And these arent normal dreams or even those fever ones.These are so messes up im literally traumatized." "Okay.Now tell me one thing,What usually happens in these dreams exactly ?"
... Umeji sighs realizing he has to describe them now. "Like, those are so unsettling ! They have cute little characters then they are caught commiting murder and killing me,eating humans and these strange eyes and entitys but the background is even scarier.You must have heard of those little backroom things,right ?Liminal spaces type of stuff."
"Ohhh !don't worry umeji ! Millions of people have these dreamds when they watch some creepy content.Argh, you take everything so so seriously."
"But..t-that doesnt go on for over like a month, right ?"..
Kai thinks.
"Yes...but i dont think its that rare.some people's dreams remain like that always !"
"I havent experienced ANYTHING like these EVER in my life.Kai,please ! Understand..These dreams scare the shit out of me."
