I woke up feeling like the entire world had arranged itself specifically for my comfort and I stretched my paws as far as they could go while imagining that the sunbeam on the floor was a royal spotlight meant only for me, then I rolled onto my back and admired my own fluff until my stomach reminded me that I was moments away from dramatic starvation so I dragged myself across the floor with the tragic flair of a misunderstood artist hoping my human would witness my suffering and immediately deliver food, which they eventually did but only after I meowed with the emotional intensity of someone delivering a farewell speech to an audience that did not deserve them.

After eating I felt my energy surge through me like a spark and I sprinted around the house with the unstoppable force of a potato-shaped meteor, bouncing off a wall slightly but pretending it was intentional, then I leapt onto the windowsill to observe the outside world where a bird sat on a branch looking unbearably smug, so I chirped at it with all the ferocity my tiny body could produce while imagining myself as a mighty hunter even though my tail was twitching so wildly that I nearly toppled off the ledge, and when the bird flew away I convinced myself that I had scared it off with my presence alone rather than the fact that it simply had somewhere else to be.

I wandered into the hallway and discovered a mysterious speck of dust that clearly held ancient secrets so I pounced on it with the precision of a legendary warrior and rolled across the carpet in a flurry of paws and fluff, then I forgot what I was doing halfway through and stared into the distance as if receiving a message from the universe only to suddenly remember the dust again and attack it with renewed passion until I became bored and decided the hallway was haunted and needed to be evacuated immediately, which I accomplished by sprinting into the living room for absolutely no reason other than instinct told me to flee, and once I arrived I pretended I had meant to come there all along because I am incapable of admitting confusion.

I climbed onto the couch and attempted to loaf with dignity but my tail refused to cooperate and kept twitching like it had its own agenda so I tucked it under myself and pretended to be a wise ancient creature who had witnessed countless lifetimes even though I had only been awake for about twenty minutes, and as I settled into the perfect loaf shape I felt the warm satisfaction of knowing I had survived another morning full of danger and drama and lint, then I closed my eyes with the deep pride of a kitty who believes she is the main character of the universe because I am Potato and everything I do is important even when it absolutely is not.
