After the Story

It appears this is the end of the Another World's Fairy Tale series and the end of this little passion project of mine. And although I had ideas for other character epilogues such as Edenthiel, Agron, Sylvia, queen Ariana, and other characters throughout the series, I didn't include them for the sake of this story and not being repetitive at the end. And even though this is the end of the Another World's Fairy Tale series, this doesn't mean it's the end of this universe. There are still plenty of stories in this world to tell that may end up getting their own stories.

But as an attempt at a romance, does it fulfill the romantic category or is something else?

I think it does at least and more in a sense of what love is actually like. And part of what got me to think about writing a romance was seeing how much romance in today's media really isn't about love but is basically porn and transactional relationships pretending to be something else. And although I wasn't consciously writing for women's preferences, I have been thought to be a woman based on my writing style until they learn otherwise.

Other content I plan to work on is making audio version of this to be added onto later with me voice acting the characters, but that likely won't happen until I have some money and can afford to rent the book and photo editing software good for this sort of thing with Adobe practicing enshittification and turning their software into a subscription service rather than actually owning your copy of the software. And unfortunately, there aren't viable alternatives to Adobe that have nearly the same level of functionality on Windows where I would dump it for Linux if Linux had the same wide compatibility to get out of the software enshittification cycle. Those no reason the much faster hardware of today should be running worse than slower hardware from the 2000s because of inefficient code and God forbid AI generated code where Windows 11 has been found to be made up of 45% of AI generated code leading to it performing worse than its predecessors while also having more issues. Plus, Linux has far less security issues, better performance, and is free to use and is at the core of every serious operating system the requires high efficiency and reliability and such as servers and phones and supercomputers.

So, I've been looking for open source alternatives for the paid subscription software I used to use, and I will say I've been pretty satisfied so far. In fact, the bulk of this story was written in open source software (Libre Office) which I used as a complete replacement for the paid and inferior Microsoft Office stopped paying a subscription for Microsoft Office. And I've already found a pretty good replacement for video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro with in open source DaVinci Resolve which was the software used to create a couple big budget movies. Realistically the only thing I would need from Adobe is Photoshop and InDesign for creating covers, thumbnails, and special pages in the style of Illuminated Manuscripts like I did with The Dark Mage published PDF and Print versions. However, some of the custom images used in the print and PDF version can be found on the Wattpad version of The Dark Mage but not all of them because of the limitations of how Wattpad reduces the resolution of images and heavy image compression to save storage space on their servers when uploading images making some paragraphs unreadable from loss of detail in the custom fonts in the style of illuminated manuscripts from the medieval period for its fantasy setting.

I hope whoever has read this enjoyed their time with this series. Have a good life.
