This Jakehoon AU is inspired by the Japanese drama 'Silent', the storyline is similar but I have written this in my own way.
All characters are fictional and do not represent the real personalities of Enhypen members.
I had watched this J-drama in 2024 and it had a impact on me ever since. It is really great, the actors were soo good, like they potrayed the characters really well.
I respect this drama so i thought, let's write it but in a unique way and the difference is that it is a bxb story and for this story I chose to use Jakehoon as the main couple of the story because they are my favourite duo.

I suddenly got the urge to write this story because I was having some problem in my right eye, like not vision prblm, it is just that my eye got slightly swollen.
Then, I was thinking about what I would do if I became blind and what I would do if I became deaf (just typical overthinking).
And please know that I'm not trying to disrespect or offend anyone here.
Then I got reminded of the series and that's how I started writing it.

Character Introduction:
Sunghoon - 26 years old. Calm, thoughtful, quiet, but deeply caring. used to love musics.
Jake - 26 years old. Cheerful, energetic, a bit silly, loves music.
Heeseung - 26 years old. Friendly, reliable, the kind of person everyone leans on.
Jay - 26 years old. Outgoing, witty, and protective of friends.
Sunoo - 26 years old. Sweet, optimistic, with a soft spot for everyone.
Yeji (Sunghoon's little sister) - 20 years old. Bright, curious, and playful.
Jaehyuk (Jake's little brother) - 20 years old. Mischievous, cheerful, and always teasing Jake.
Kang Chaerin - 26 years old. Deaf since birth, calm and understanding, became Sunghoon's close friend in college.
Other side characters may appear later in the story.
Heads-up: The first few chapters jump between flashbacks and the present, so you'll see past and present scenes mixed. Don't worry it will all makes sense.
