Scene 1:
The morning air drifted by as the windows shone by the illuminated sun, casting a nice glow inside the airport.
"Yes, mum, I know... I'll be okay."
Assured Aurelia Sapone, placing a hand on her mothers shoulder.
"A-okay?"
Her mother - Jessica Sapone - asked, not being the best with her child being independent. Not because Aurelia wasn't good at it, Jessica just didn't like the thought of it.
"Yes, mum,"
Aurelia drew her mother into a hug, a warm and soft hug, before finishing her sentence.
"A-okay. You can count on me."
Jessica smiled, trusting her daughter.
"Every single second of every single day."
Scene 2:
They gave one last goodbye until Aurelia set off and onto the plane, leaving her mother behind. Jessica felt the tears stain her face as she wiped them away with her smile that was now bittersweet.
"Every second... every single- every single day..."
Jessica murmured to herself before exiting the airport with the rest of the crowd of emotional parents.
Scene 3:
On the plane, Aurelia was the last to board, or she thought so. She ventured around the plane before discovering her seat covered in... chocolate wrappers and empty cans of coke.
"Gosh, what happened to cleanliness?"
Aurelia asked herself flatly, brushing off all of the trash onto the floor and sitting down on the slightly irritating fabric that made Aurelia itch.
"Yeah, I should've stayed with mum..."
Aurelia muttered sarcastically, trying to find comfort on the uncomfortable seat.
Scene 4:
A humanly spark burst into the aeroplane, revealing a messy Annabelle Lopez who slipped into the plane at the very last minute.
"Shit, sorry that I'm late, attendant..."
She peered down at the name tag and back up.
"Attendant Bertie, very sorry. Uh, where's my seat exactly?"
Attendant Bertie sighed as he glanced at the register and back.
"Row 15, seat C."
He replied blankly, silently giving her the look to go now before he gets in his morningly mood. Annabelle understood quickly, nodding with a small smile as she jogged over to her seat.
Scene 5:
"Oh, no, no, no... don't tell me she's sitting next to me-"
Whispered Aurelia, praying that she wasn't the chosen one by Annabelle. Sadly for her, she was.
"Hey!"
Annabelle exclaimed with her bubbly wave as she sat down on the chair, finding comfort in it immediately whilst Aurelia itched. Aurelia pretended to laugh, but slowly quieted down as she sunk into the seat. Annabelle, being pretty naive, hadn't noticed what her energy did to Aurelia in 7 in the morning, so she simply shrugged and chatted away.
"I'm Annabelle! What's your name? Are you also going to Ashford College? Because I am too! Oh, that would be great! Imagine if we both get to be roomies... EEEK!"
Annabelle enthused and inquired at the same time, placing her hands respectfully in her lap after doing many different hand gestures. Aurelia slowly rose, beginning to talk.
"Uh, hi, I'm Aurelia and yeah... I'm going to Ashford College-"
Before Aurelia could properly finish her sentence, the aeroplane had flown off of the ground, making her fall back and hit her head on the headrest.
"Ow-"
Aurelia winced, rubbing the back of her head. Luck clearly wasn't on her side.
Scene 6:
It had been 13 minutes now of being in the air, but Annabelle was still finding ways to talk.
"Oh, wow! It's already been 13 minutes- oh, no, not 13..."
Annabelle gulped nervously, making Aurelia anxious by just looking at her.
"Wh-What? What about 13?"
Aurelia questioned softly, not wanting to trigger anything. Annabelle sighed, biting her lip and then answering.
"I have a thing with numbers... and 13 is one I specifically don't like. It brings me bad luck."
Aurelia raised her eyebrows, not expecting that response, but she couldn't see it being in any other form. Suddenly, there was a slight thud, making everyone gasp and lose balance. Annabelle let out a yelp whilst Aurelia kept her calm, eyeing around the plane.
"What was that?-"
She queried to herself before Annabelle blurted out what Aurelia thought was all gibberish and bullshit.
"ITS THE 13. ITS BAD LUCK STRIKING ON US!"
Aurelia groaned, putting her face in her palms as she replied to Annabelle subtly.
"Annabelle. It's just a number. And that was just a slight anomaly in the pilots driving."
Annabelle snapped her head around, seeming infuriated. Aurelia went from 'what the actual FUCK' to 'WHAT the actual fuck' in 2 seconds by Annabelles reaction.
"Aurora-"
Aurelia cleared her throat, cutting in hastily.
"Its Aurelia."
Annabelle grunted, rolling her eyes.
"Aurelia. It's not just a number!"
Without warning, the aeroplane shook again, this time violently and abruptly as lightning struck outside with disturbing thunder. The pilot could be heard on the speakers, alerting the passengers.
"We are very sorry to announce this, but there seems to be some turbulence on your way over to Italy."
Aurelia froze, contemplating right then and there if Annabelle was correct.
Scene 7:
Annabelles breathing pattern turned uneven as she tried to calm herself down by tapping around her arms; up and down. Aurelia was silently judging, side-glancing at her... odd ways.
"Annabelle, what is... this?"
Aurelia posed, attempting to hide her expression with fake 'support'. Annabelle slowly turned to look at her, hiding her expression as well with a fake smile.
"Calming myself down."
Foolishly, they both believed the fakeness of their actions. Aurelia crossed her arms, tapping her foot on the marble floor as she stared outside. She examined the lightning for a while, but it wasn't just yellow. It looked purple. Without the thunder being at its side. A deep purple. Aurelias expression went from interested to puzzled as she tried to tap Annabelles shoulder, failing and tapping her head instead.
"Annabelle... do you see this?"
Aurelia questioned, hiding her fear under her tough act.
"Yeah... why on gods green earth is it purple?"
Aurelia shrugged, wishing she knew the answer to one of Annabelles questions this time.
"I really wish I knew."
Scene 8:
Out of the blue, lightning struck again, hitting one of the planes wings as it collapsed, making the plane tilt. Annabelle screamed, making several babies cry as well.
"HOLY SHIT!"
Annabelle clinged to Aurelias arm, refusing to let go as Aurelia grunted and gave her a 'you're crazy' look before brushing her off.
"What the..."
Aurelia muttered as she shook Annabelle away. Annabelle gripped the chair next as the plane began shuddering. Screams echoed around the plane, giving Aurelia a headache as she was the only civil one there, despite being 16 when there were 30 year olds and Annabelle screaming more than the babies.
"AURELIA! IF WE DIE, I'D LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR DEALING WITH MY ENTHUSIASTIC AND SUPERSTITIOUS SHIT!"
Annabelle shouted at Aurelia, affecting her headache once again.
"Uh, no worries..."
Aurelia replied before looking the other way and mumbling.
"At least she's self-aware."
Scene 9:
All of a sudden, the plane swerved into a 360°, making everyone shriek while Aurelia yelped subtly amongst the screams. Before anyone could process the danger, it had finally been created. The milky blueish purple portal had been formed as it sucked the whole plane in. Echoes of screams had left the face of this dimension within the snap of someone's fingers.
Scene 10:
Suddenly, a buzzing alarm had woke up Addison Williams as she groggily sat up, slamming her fist on it as it obeyed and paused. Before ringing again.
"You stupid-"
Addison was too enraged to the point before she finished her sentence, she already flung it to the other side of the room with a crack.
"Damn, who did that? Wasn't me."
Addison leapt out of bed as she scattered her clothes onto the floor, desperate to find clothes that were appropriate for the first day. Well, appropriate to Addison was flared jeans, henley tops, adidas sambas and a Louis Vuitton bag.
Eventually, she wiggled on her 2000s flared 'miss me' jeans in which she inherited from her auntie when she was an early adult in 2001. Addison slided on her navy blue henley top, shifted on her blue and white adidas sambas and swung her white and dark blue louis vuitton bag on her shoulder.
Before exiting her room, she applied on some mascara and subtle lip gloss that she always stored in her pocket. And finally, she fled the room.
Scene 11:
"Oh, hey, sleepyhead. Catch this!"
Addisons mother (Carol Williams) exclaimed, throwing the plate to her and the pancake into the air from the frying pan as Addison entered the kitchen. She caught the plate, laying her arm out as the pancake landed flat on it.
"Thanks, mum."
Addison replied, swiftly sitting down on a wooden chair to eat her breakfast.
"You look nice!"
Her mother complimented with a warm smile.
"Thank you, but I dress like this every day."
Addison stated as she took a bite of the golden pancake.
"I know, dear."
Carol responded, drinking her cup of coffee in her white and purple dressing gown.
"Do you have your timetable?"
She asked, causing Addison to quickly remember.
"Oh, shit!"
Addison muttered under her breath, dashing upstairs as her mother shouted up.
"Language! George is right here!"
George, being a very observant and adaptable toddler, giggled and mimicked what his sister said innocently.
"Shit!"
Carol sighed, shaking her head as she gave a very light lecture to George to not say that word.
Scene 12:
Once Addison glided back down into the kitchen, she opened up the timetable and took a look into the subjects.
"I mean, it could be worse..."
Addison mumbled, not impressed by what she had lined up for herself.
"Oh, what do you have, Ads?"
Carol inquired curiously, trying to peer into her timetable.
"Bul- nonsense... nonsense. Maths, physical education, English, drama, spanish, and geography."
Addison answered, groaning at the end as she dumped her head into the booklet, careful not to smudge her lipgloss or mascara.
"Hey! Drama isn't that bad. I took drama and it was..."
Carol did a little run-up before jumping into a jazz-hands dance.
"Amazing!"
Addison rolled her eyes at her mothers attempt of trying to support her possibly first dreadful day at school.
"Yep, I so needed that, mum."
Carol laughed and adjusted George in her arms, making him giggle.
"You're so very welcome, Ads."
Scene 13:
Bon Jovi began to play with 'livin' on a prayer' as Jackson slipped on his darj grey and light grey nirvana shirt with dark blue baggy jeans and the unforgettable black and white converses. He ruffled his dark brunette hair so it was messy and fluffy and packed his bag in a random order. He threw minty gum into his mouth, chewing subtly as he flipped up his skateboard. Finally, he exited the house, riding on his skateboard to school.
Scene 14:
Addisons house wasn't connected to a neighbourhood or anything, but it was in the forest behind it. This was Addisons first time walking to school as she usually got the bus back in New York, so it didn't really feel right to her. The twigs crumpled under her feet as she decided to turn on some music. She brought out her earphones, plugging them in her ear as she switched on tears for fears with their iconic 'head over heels'.
Scene 15:
Everything was going fine in both of their worlds, until suddenly, Addison felt herself get hit by a boy on a skateboard. Shocked, she quickly got back up and confronted the boy.
"Hey! Please be more aware next time, or something?!"
The boy scoffed as he turned around, revealing Jackson Spencer as he switched down Bon Jovi to 'talk' with her.
"Excuse me? I was aware! You just walked straight into me, miss."
Addison scoffed back, crossing her arms and arguing back.
"Oh, really? Is this how you treat ladies? I'm expecting an apology here!"
Jackson shook his head with a smirk.
"Unbelievable... and no, I don't pay attention to nearly every girl I've seen in my 14 years of life. And I'm expecting a better attitude."
Addisons mouth dropped at his sass, but she simply chuckled, the laugh dripping in sarcasm as she replied.
"Nearly every girl? Elaborate please. And a better attitude? Ha, no. You deserve what you're getting from me right now, mister."
Jackson continued smirking, rolling his eyes and crossed his arms as well.
"By nearly every girl, I mean the girls who go to my school. And you."
Addison laughed, resting one hand on her hip and the other on her lip as a habit she does.
"Oh, lovely, I fit into both categories!"
Jackson raised an eyebrow in confusion, not knowing yet that she was a transfer student.
"What? You go to my school?"
Addison nodded, keeping her face expressionless from how blank her answer was.
"Yeah, I do now."
Jackson scoffed and put his hands on his face, draping them down until they reached his sides again.
"Great. Just great."
Jackson announced dramatically before skating away, turning his music back on and blasting it loudly for Addison to hear deliberately. Addison groaned, crossing her arms and huffing.
"Dickhead."
