The Transformation: After the betrayal, her "softness" dies. She becomes calculated, stoic, and fiercely protective of her circle.
Style: Early on, she wears bright colors and braids. Later she shifts to dark designer streetwear, heavy gold chains, and a gaze that can freeze a room.

Background: Grew up in the house right next to Princess. While Princess had a natural "shine," Josephine always felt like the shadow. Her home life was more chaotic, leading to a deep-seated need for control and attention.
The Betrayal: Driven by a mixture of jealousy and a feeling of being left behind, she uses Princess's deepest insecurities to destroy her social standing.
The Vibe: The person who smiles in your face while recording your downfall on her phone. She peaks in high school and spends the rest of the story trying to live off the "clout" of her past association with Princess.

Role: Supporting Character / Gang Affiliate.
Background: A veteran of the streets who runs a local independent label, Hollow Point Records. He sees Princess rapping to herself at a bus stop and recognizes the "hunger" in her eyes.
His Role: He provides the "muscle" and the street credibility Princess needs to survive the underground. He becomes a father figure, teaching her that the music business is just as dangerous as the street corners.

Role: The Moral Compass.
Background: Princess’s mother. She represents the "old South" faith, hard work, and dignity.
Conflict: She is heartbroken by Princess’s change in personality and her involvement with the gang, but she remains the only person Princess still shows her "soft" side to.
