The Unexpected

*Three days before the wedding*

Beck and Jade are having their last date as an engaged couple. They decided to do it recreating their first date. They are sitting on the back of Beck's truck, which is parked at a park, with a blanket full the finished food they brought with them.

"Another successful date, baby," Beck says, pouring some champagne into a wine glass and handing one to Jade while pouring one for himself. "Next on our agenda: getting married." They clink their glasses together and take a sip.
"You did a great job coming up with the idea to have our date like this," said Jade.
"Yup, just a little deja vu before our wedding debut."
"Just want to point out that you also could've done this the day after you proposed."
"Because that was when I asked you to be my girlfriend? That's true, but I did come up with this last minute. Plus, I wanted to take you out one last time before we fully became betrothed."
"I appreciate the effort, regardless, so thank you.."
"Of course."
"Anyway, can we talk about our honeymoon?"
"Sure, what about it would you like to discuss?"
"Well, since you kept surprising me throughout our engagement, I think it's my turn to surprise you."
"So, you want to choose where we're going?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, go for it. Wherever the destination is, I'll be grateful, because I'm spending time with you."
"I'll do my best to choose one that will work for the both of us."

*Two days before the wedding*

Just when he thought everything with the wedding has been intact, Beck received a message from the guy that was supposed to be the minister for him and Jade.

The message stated that he no longer could be a part of the wedding, due to currently dealing with some family issues at the moment.

This made Beck get frustrated that the minister didn't mention it to him sooner so he could find another replacement. However, he still sent regards to his family.

At Jet Brew, Beck is having a meeting with Sikowitz and asking him if he would like to be the new minister for the wedding.

"Of course! I'd be glad to," Sikowitz responded, feeling honored.
"Awesome, thank you so much," Beck says relieved with a smile on his face.
"Is Jade also on board with this?"
"Yes, I texted her before I came over here and she agreed it was a great idea."
"Wonderful. Well, I guess I better go prepare myself then."
"Alright, cool."

Sikowitz gives Beck a pat on his back after getting up from his chair then leaves the coffee shop.

Meanwhile, Jade has finished booking the ticket for her and Beck's honeymoon. When she realized how close the wedding is, she remembered that Beck suggested they should do vows.

Two hours later..

Jade got a little too ahead of herself and wrote three versions of her wedding vows. She is looking over each of them, trying to decide which one she wanted to use.

When still feeling indecisive, she grabs her laptop and opens it to do a group video call with her bridesmaids; Cat, Tori, and Trina.

Tori and Trina being bridesmaids was not Jade's choice at all. Beck had to convince her to let them do it so that Cat wouldn't be standing up behind her at the alter by herself.

"Hey, Jade, so for the dresses, we decided to go with matching blue ones," Tori announced. "How does that sound?"
"No, I said, that the color you guys wear is red," Jade retorted. "I didn't mean you had to choose the color."
"But you said that you didn't care if we matched," said Trina.
"I don't, as long as you wear red."
"Is there a certain reason why you want to us to wear that color?"
"Cause Beck said that the guys are all going to have red ties for their tuxes, remember? So, just go with it."
"Okay," Tori and Cat reply.
"Alright," Trina replies with them in unison.
"So, why the sudden video call?" Tori questions.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really need your help."
"With what?" Said Trina.
"So, I wrote three versions of my wedding vows, and I'm having a hard time choosing which one I want to say. I'll read them all out to you, and you tell me which one sounds the best."
"Okay," all three girls reply at the same time.
