Chapter 16

~Katherine Pov~

James is pretty scary when he is silent and angry. Once we got home James gave Trey the idea to go to the park with Alex and Billy. James just had been pacing back and forth with his hand to his head. Just him doing that is getting me nervous plus his flush face is also. I just really hope that he doesn’t find out about Billy. I have to lie my ass off so he doesn’t find out. Billy use to tell me I was horrible liar. I hope he was lying.

“Did he or did he not touch you?” He asked threw his teeth.

“No.” I lied.

“Don’t Lie Katherine. You don’t know Billy he can be very dangerous.” James said coming and sitting next to me.

“I am not lying.” I lied again.

“Listen to me Katherine okay .Billy is not a good guy he may seem it but he isn’t. He always use to get in trouble when we were younger. He always got out of it because he was my dad favorite as I was moms. When he was sixteen after our mom had died. Him and dad where never home. But one day I was in my first year of college. I seen on the news he was accused of rape of a child. They had a picture of him with a big smile. But all the charges were dropped for some reason. He raped that poor girl Katherine. I don’t want him near you or touching you so tell me if he touched you.” James said. I didn’t know Billy was accused of rape. Well he raped me but still. I didn’t know he raped another person. Billy belongs in jail and nowhere else. Too bad Billy already had done stuff to me for James to be worried.

“He didn’t I just tripped and thought I was falling so I yelped.” I lied to him again.

“Katherine.” He hissed storming toward me.

“Okay fine he touched my butt. I think it was by a mistake.” He scared me but no to much to lie to him. The door flew open Trey came running in laughing followed by Alex. Trey running out to the back yard. James stormed near the door and swung his fist as soon as Billy foot came into view. I flinched back when I hear the cracking of a bone. James face was bright red as he stared down at Billy with his hand still shaped at a fist. He pointed his index finger out to Billy and growled.

“Next time you touch her I will kill you. I don’t care that you are my brother or not.” James growled threw his teeth.

“Ha-ha ha-ha did my big brother take a liking to this piece of trash.” Billy said laughing and wiping his nose where blood streamed out of.

“I have and even if I haven’t I would still protect her from your crazy and sick self.” James growled.

“Aww poor big brother to bad her mate would not like you with her. He doesn’t even like you near her.” Billy laughed.

“Her mate rejected her.” James hissed standing near me and placing his hand around my waist.

“Alex might have rejected her but it doesn’t mean he want you with her. “ Billy sneered out.

“Alex is your mate?” James asked me.

“Yeah.” I mumbled.

“HE REJECTED YOU!” Jams hollered. I shrugged and looked down.

“It’s fine.” I mumbled.

“What’s wrong?” I heard Alex ask walking into the living room.

“What’s wrong you are Alex? How could you?  Sammy died cause of that bastard rejecting her.” James hissed holding me to his chest.

“Sammy was a bitch anyway she deserved to die.” Billy sneered with a laugh. I’m so confused who is Sam.

“She was your mate she was mad for you dumbass.  She was also the nicest girl in the world!” James yelled at his brother. So Billy had a mate and she died.

“Yeah well she died.” Billy shrugged it off.

“Yeah she had a damn heart attack cause of you. She got stressed and you made the good girl turn into an alcoholic that made it worse and she died cause of the heart attack.” James growled.

“So…….. What does this have to with me I didn’t reject Katherine.” Billy said with a smug smile looking at me and giving me a wink.

“I know that Billy. James there was even your neighbor daughter Lindsay she killed herself because she couldn’t take the pain of being rejected. After what Katherine has been through you GO AND REJECT HER!”He yelled at Alex.

“James its okay I just want him to be happy. “ I told him. It hurts knowing Alex would rather be with Jenny But I am fine with it. He will happier with her then a broken girl like me. Hell Jenny can have kids when me on the other hand one in a million chances on having kids.

“HOW CAN YOU EVEN BE IN THIS HOUSE WHEN HE IS AN OTHER ROOM FUCKING ANOTHER GIRL?” James yelled. I shrugged I only heard him and Jenny twice it hurt but I just took a shower so I wouldn’t hear them. “You don’t deserve this baby girl.” James sighed cupping my chin and lifting my face too look into my eyes. “You don’t deserve a lot of things you been threw especially all the things you had told me.” He whispered hugging me to his chest.

“Everything Happens for a reason James. Its Fate.” I told him.

“Katherine I’m s-“ James cut Alex off by pushing us threw he and retreating to my room.
