Fortune and Flares

Sienna stretched lazily across her silk sheets, sunlight spilling through the tall windows of her penthouse bedroom. She yawned, ignoring the gilded clock that reminded her she was already late for class. Brushing her fingers over the polished marble of her vanity, she smirked, why rush when the world waited for no one, and she certainly didn't? Sliding into her designer jacket, she grabbed her bag and sauntered toward the elevator, humming a tune only she seemed to know, completely unbothered by the ticking time.
By the time she stepped into the classroom, the door creaked and all eyes flicked up  but it wasn't the stares that caught her attention. A tall figure sat in her seat, calm, composed, almost annoyingly casual. And that's when Sienna's smirk faltered just enough to reveal her irritation.

She looked at the unfamiliar guy sitting " excuse me, thats my seat"

He looked at her for a second and looked back at his notebook, " I don't see a name on it"

She got irritated when she heard him, " what the hell is wrong with you? "

Her friend, Josie went to her side quickly , whispering " he is son of the president , Julian "

Sienna was surprised for a second " so what? Does that give him right to sit on my seat when he can sit anywhere he want?"

Before she could say more the teacher interrupted her, " please sit down now, we are in middle of the class"

Sienna was about to reply but sighed and sat at down with Josie in frustration

As class continued, the teacher was explaining about taxes, he asked a question about it

Sienna still irritated eyed Julian, " we all know where our taxes goes to"

Julian glanced at her , with a small smile on his face

Sienna didn't look at him , satisfied to be able to get back at him somehow

She and her friend went to the cafeteria, as she sat down with Josie , her other friends Lucas, Theo and Julian sat in front of them

Seinna frowned at the sight of Julian, " why is he sitting here? Oh! I guess its his father's property and he can sit just anywhere " she said with a scoff

Lucas spoke " come on Seinna , its not that serious , lets not fight"

" yeah right, becauee i was the one who started it" she said with sarcasm dripping in her tone

Julian just laughed a little at her but didn't reply which make her even more annoyed, made her feel as if she is being unreasonable

As Sienna and Josie were walking at the campus ,Josie spoke " do you know why Julian transferred in middle of the year? I heard others talking that he made some kind of trouble "

It made Sienna curious " what kind of trouble? Don't tell me he did some kind of drug and got caught?"

Josie laughed at her, " i don't know , but he clearly doesn't look like one to do drugs"

"Well, you never know " Sienna laughed
