Extras Chapter: Uninvited Guest

"Thanks to me!" Lizzy added, striking a pose of victory.

"Поехали. Свадьба начинается через час." [Let's go. The wedding starts in an hour.] Doll said as she grabbed her things.

Rin stood up, instinctually reaching for her sword — only for Lizzy to kick it away with zero hesitation.

"Nu-uh. We are not letting you walk into a wedding looking like a death machine." Lizzy scolded. "Relax. This is the most secure part of the rebellion complex, in case you forgot."

Rin froze. Her expression didn't change much, but her optics dimmed just slightly—an unreadable flicker of discomfort or unease.

Lizzy crossed her arms and raised a brow, silently telling Rin to move. Rin gave a reluctant nod and followed after her older sister.

Uzi and N's Wedding.

The wedding hall was filled with N and Uzi's closest friends and family.

At one table sat A, V, and J.

At another sat Thad, Nori, and Yeva.

Another held Lira, Ryu, and Zack.

The rest of the attendees—rebels, peacekeepers, old allies—filled the room with quiet chatter and anticipation.

As Rin, Doll, and Lizzy stepped inside, Yeva immediately approached, optics bright.

"Вау, Рин, ты отлично выглядишь! Я никогда не видела тебя в таком стиле." [Wow Rin, you look great! I've never seen you in this style.] Yeva said with a warm smile.

"Sister helped me maintain this appearance," Rin replied flatly.

"Uh? Hey? I also helped??" Lizzy protested, gesturing wildly.

"Спасибо, Лиззи." [Thank you, Lizzy.] Doll quickly said before Rin could ignore her.

"Давайте займем свои места, прежде чем все начнется." [Come on, let's get seated before it starts.] Yeva said, guiding Doll and Lizzy back to sit with Thad and Nori.

Rin broke off from the group, walking toward her designated table.

She sat down, and instantly Lira, Zack, and Ryu—dressed sharply themselves—stared at her like she'd descended from another dimension.

"Rin??? Is that you???" Lira practically exploded, her voice higher than usual.

"Woah," Zack smirked, "didn't think you could look like anything outside of an emotionless soldier ready to kill on sight."

"That's a first," Ryu added with a chuckle.

Rin stared at them deadpan. "My sister was the one who forced this on me."

"Don't worry! You look great!" Lira beamed.

Rin glanced at her, but said nothing. Her expression remained perfectly still.

The Ceremony

The lights dimmed slightly as the wedding began.

N stepped out first — wearing a sleek black suit with gold trim that made him look dapper as he nervously fidgets his fingers.

Everything proceeded smoothly. Rin watched, silent and unmoving, her processors idling as the ceremony felt like it dragged for hundreds of hours. Social gatherings drained her — this was not an exemption.
