I want to be transparent with you all.
Some of my earlier books used AI tools during parts of the revision process. They were not AI-generated. The stories, characters, plots, ideas, and original writing are mine.
However, I relied on AI assistance more heavily than I am comfortable with in hindsight, particularly for rephrasing, revising drafts, rewriting sections, refining scenes, and editing chapters.
Over time, I realized that if I was capable of writing these books myself, I should also trust myself to handle more of the difficult parts of revision myself.
Because of that, I've decided to revisit these books so they better reflect my own voice and the standards I want for my work as an author.
Some titles have already been temporarily removed while I work on updated editions. Revised versions will be uploaded to Kindle Direct Publishing and other platforms where possible.
For Kindle readers
Once the updated files are published, you should be able to access the revised editions through your existing purchase without buying them again.
For paperback and hardcover readers
Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds. The royalties authors receive from KDP are significantly lower than the final purchase price once printing costs, taxes, marketplace fees, and regional pricing are taken into account. My current banking setup also does not support international reimbursements.
What I can offer instead is a commitment to improving these books.
When I am financially able to do so, I plan to organize giveaways of updated physical editions for readers who supported the earlier versions. I will cover both the books and shipping costs. I cannot promise a timeline yet, but I will share updates when I have them.
In the meantime, revised digital editions will be available through Kindle, Wattpad, and other platforms where possible.
If you purchased one of these books and feel disappointed, I'm happy to provide revised digital editions, bonus content, or answer questions whenever possible.
I'm sorry for any disappointment this may cause, and I'm grateful for your patience, support, and understanding while I work on these updates.

"But You Didn't Just Proofread It."
I know.
I've never claimed that this was only proofreading.
AI assistance was involved in parts of the revision process far beyond grammar corrections. That included rephrasing, rewriting, revisiting drafts, and refining sections of my work.
The books were written by me, but I relied on AI during revision more heavily than I believe I should have.
I no longer have the original drafts to compare against. At the time, I kept the revised versions and deleted earlier files without thinking much about it.
Looking back, one of my biggest mistakes was convincing myself that I couldn't handle the difficult parts of revision on my own.
Writing first drafts was never the difficult part for me.
The difficult part was revisiting weak scenes, fixing mistakes, rewriting chapters, and accepting that revision is slow, repetitive work.
That was the part I wanted to avoid.
People warned me about relying too heavily on AI, and they weren't wrong.
At the same time, I struggled to find the kind of help I was looking for. Many professional editing services were outside my budget or required international payments that I couldn't make. The domestic services I found often focused more on marketing and promotion than the kind of revision support I needed.
