"You told me we were going to the movies!" Justin yelled as he slammed the door to his car.

"Well I lied." I said as we walked into the mall. I insisted that Justin let me drive his car, although I only have a learners permit. I told him that on this wonderful evening that we were going to the movies, but I really needed to go shopping. I knew Justin wouldn't  want to come with me if I really told him that I was going to the mall.

Justin hated going shopping with me. But tonight is Danny's New Years Eve party, and I have nothing to wear. And I didn't want to shop alone.

"Ugh! Well you better just stop at one store and then we're out of here." He demanded.

I stopped walking and glared at him. "I'm a girl. We don't just go to the mall and stop at one store." I informed him.

He rolled his eyes. "Well how many stores do you need to go to?"

"Well, first we need to go in Forever 21, then we need to go in H&M, then we need to go to Top Shop, then we need to go to Brandy Melville, then we-"

"Why don't you just kill me now?" Justin groaned.

"Oh come on. It is not that bad." I grabbed Justin by the wrist and pulled him into the mall.

First we went into Forever 21, one of my personal favorite stores. I looked all around the store, but the only thing I could find that I liked that I would wear to the party was a pair of black sandals. I picked them up and bought them.

When I was done in forever 21, I moved my way to H&M. I looked around and my eyes eventually landed on a white casual dress that would go perfect with the black sandals I bought. I picked it up and walked to the check out.

"Finally." Justin said as I picked the dress and walked to the check out.

"Quiet. We've only been in two stores. Just because I found an outfit doesn't mean we stop looking." I smirked at Justin as he gave me an annoyed look and threw his head back. I feel sorry for who ever Justin's wife is going to be. She's not gonna have any shopping fun because her husband will be whining too much.

Once I bought my dress, we headed to all the other stores I had listed. I bought a couple other things, and when we were done, we made our way back to the parking lot.

I looked at my phone to check the time. It was only five-thirty. The party started at nine o'clock. So to kill Justin's pain, I told him that we could go to the movies.

Justin drove to the nearest theater and we watched Insidious 3, which was freaking amazing.

By the time the movie was over, it was six-thirty. I told Justin to drive me home so I could get ready. And I know it's kind of early to be getting ready when the party starts at nine, but I know how long it takes for me to get ready.

When Justin drove me home, I went inside and slammed the door behind myself. "Mom, dad, I'm home!" I yelled as I walked through the living room and up the stairs.

"No one cares!" I heard Nicks voice through his closed bedroom door.

I rolled my eyes and walked up the stairs. I opened the door to Nicks room and he jumped. "Do you know how to knock?"

"Where are mom and dad?" I asked, ignoring his question. "Their next door, having coffee with Michael's aunt and uncle."

"Ugh." I groaned as I walked out of Nick's room, closing the door behind myself. I don't appreciate how well my parents and Michael's aunt and uncle are getting along. It makes me sick. Both of my parents know that I hate Michael, why make matters worse by becoming friends with his family!

I went across the hall into my room. Time to get ready.

I hopped in my shower and took a warm shower. When I was done, I wrapped my towel around me and began on my hair and make up. I started deciding on what hairstyle I should wear.

Side braid? No.

Messy bun? No.

Pig tails? No, I look like a five year old.

Ponytail? No

Ah, what the hell, just leave it down.

After deciding to leave my hair down, I started on my makeup. I actually hate wearing makeup sometimes, but my goal is to look better than all the other assholes at the party, so makeup it is.

I started by putting a little black eye shadow on. Then I put on some eye liner and winged it out. I then rummaged through my bathroom drawer, and when I finally found the eyelash curler, I curled my eyelashes. I put on some mascara, which ended up with me poking my eye with the brush.

When I was done with my makeup, it was time for the best part, the outfit. I went back to my room and rummaged through my bags. I fished out my sandals from Forever 21, and my dress from H&M. I put them both on, and looked myself over in the mirror. I nodded my head in approval. I was done. It was now eight-thirty.

I turned my head and looked on my bed for my phone. I grabbed the phone and sent Catelynn a text, telling her to come over so we could get to the party. You know, because I have to have all my friends drive me around, since I don't have a freaking license yet.

"Alright, bye." I heard my mom's voice through my open window. I walked toward my window and saw my mom and dad walking away from Michael's house.

I looked across at Michael's room and saw him at his desk, doing something that looked like homework. He turned his head to the left and frowned. He got up and opened his window. "Who's the one stalking me now?" He said with a smirk on his face.

"I wasn't stalking you." I scoffed.

"Sure you weren't." He said, adding a wink.

I glared at him. "Shut the hell up." I said, getting fed up.

Michael stared at me for a few seconds before speaking again. "Where are you going looking all snazzy?"

"Snazzy?" I asked.

Michael rolled his eyes. "Where are you going?"

"I have a New Years Eve party to go to, so if you could stop talking to me that would be greatly appreciated."

Michael's eyes widened and a huge smile appeared on his face. "You're going to a New Years Eve party? I'm going."

My mouth gaped open. "What? No you're not?"

"Yes I am." Michael pulled his phone out of his pocket and out it up to his ear.

I looked at him with a furious face expression. "You don't even know Danny. You can't go."

"Hey, Dylan. We're going to a New Years Eve party. Get ready." He said over the phone, completely ignoring what I'd said.

"Are you kidding me? What the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled.

"Dylan and I like parties." He said, shrugging his shoulders.

"That doesn't mean you can go to any party, anytime you want!"

"Yes it does." He said closing his window and walking off.

I growled in frustration before closing my window and walking off. A couple minutes later, Catelynn arrived and we started driving to the party.

A couple minutes of driving to the party, Catelynn spoke. "Mel, don't look now, but I think we're being followed." She said as she tensed up and tightened her grip on the steering wheel.

I shook my head. "It's just Dylan and Michael. They decided to come along and crash Danny's party." I explained, rolling my eyes.

"Typical of them." She said.

I shook my head in shame and turned to face the window.
