Chapter 6: The Escape
Jax sprinted through the corridors, the device secure in his suit. He knew Al-Faisal's men would be waiting. He needed a new plan, fast.
He ducked into a ventilation shaft, crawling through the narrow tunnels. The air was thick with dust, and the metal creaked beneath him.
Jax reached a grate, peering out into a large laboratory. He spotted Lena, standing by a workstation, surrounded by Al-Faisal's guards.
"Looks like you're in a bit of a bind, Jax," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Care to surrender?"
Jax smirked. He knew she was playing a double game. He dropped down, taking out the guards with swift precision.
Lena handed him a sidearm. "Time to leave.
Together, they fought their way through the facility, dodging bullets and leaping over obstacles. They reached the extraction point, a waiting helicopter hovering above.
Jax and Lena jumped in, and the chopper soared into the night sky.
"We're clear," the pilot said, as Jax breathed a sigh of relief.
But Jax knew this was far from over. Al-Faisal would stop at nothing to get the device back.
And Jax had a feeling he was just getting started.
