Start from the beginning

Emily: [put his hands in the "air"] I found more!

Rocket: Hurry, put the pieces on! [Rocket puts the pieces in a donut shape. It falls to the ground.] The seagulls ate it!

Emily: Ga-heh!

Rocket: We can't return it!

Emily: Wha-guh!

Rocket: We're thieves!

Emily: Hi-yo-hoo!

Rocket: We have to confess.

Emily: Confess?! Are you outta your mind?! Do you have any idea what they do to people like us? We're not talking about some dumb mail fraud scheme or hijacking here. [The scene shows a wide shot of the scene.] [the citizens witness this] We stole a donut! And they're going to lock us up forever.

[Rocket covers Emily's mouth.]

Rocket: You're right, we've just got to keep our heads. Act normal.

[The two talk gibberish. Rocket walks in a circle sticking his tongue out. Emily flops on the ground. Rocket starts flopping on the ground. He slides in a curve and then gets up. He grabs his tongue and starts shimmying around. Billy walks by and stops.]

Billy: Wow, street performers!

[A crowd gathers around admiring the show. The crowd cheers. The two stop.]

Rocket and Emily: [yelling] It's not working!

[The two scream and run away. They hit the donut cart.]

Dunkin: Hi there!

[Rocket and Emily scream and run away. Dunkin looks confused]

Dunkin: Hey! Don't you want a free donut? It's National Donut Day!

[Rocket and Emily are shown running at a low shot.]

Emily: He's onto us!

Rocket: It's not safe for California anymore. We've got to move fast and cover our tracks.

Emily: [running while carrying a can of red paint and making a line of red paint on the groud] I'm on it, Rocket!

[The two are shown running. The scene changes to show the top of a cliff outside of California.]

Rocket: Take a last look Emily. We can never go back.

Emily: [While waving] Goodbye, California.

Rocket: [while picking up a hobo stick] We've only got ourselves and what we can carry on our backs.

Emily: Yup.

[The scene shows a shot of the sunset. They walk towards the sun. The scene changes to show them sitting next to a campfire at night in a dark desert]

Emily: I wanna go home.

Rocket: We can never go home. We're wanted. We'll spend the rest of our lives running... running, but at least it's warm around the fire.

Emily: Hey, if its cold out, how could there be a...

[The fire goes out. An owl noise is heard.]

Emily: I'm scared, Rocket!

Rocket: No more nice, warm beds.

Emily: Huh?

Rocket: [saddened] No more Disneyland.

Emily: Oh!

Rocket: No more getting mail! No more Sox! No more movies! No more Big Jet! No more of friends! No more anything!
